If you're feeling fancy , I recommend the Japanese whiskey , hibiki Japanese harmony. Goes down a bit smoother than other types of whiskey . Speaking of whiskey , they do make a mean old fashioned !

Denson's offers top-notch prohibition cocktails and (surprisingly) an authentic cuban panini . Best for small groups as even the back room only accommodates 8. Excellent service !

Great food menu featuring deviled eggs , sweet potato hummus and a pot of pickles . Rye old fashioned like drink with rosemary was a highlight alongside a shaken rum beverage that tasted like Christmas .

The best liquor bar in DC. Nice staff , nice cheese and meat plates. You can have a talk with your friends in pretty romantic atmosphere so worth to go!

The cocktails come quickly but the menu isn't adventurous at a all. And $14 is a little much. The $9 happy hour price is a great deal, though.
