Unfortunately probably the closest to a New York Deli/Restaurant in SD. Had the matzo ball soup , latkes , and a Ruben sandwich . I really wish San Diego had a legit spot like Katz's or Zingerman's.

Born on the East coast and miss the delicatessens from there? This is as close and genuine as they come. latkes , sandwiches piled with tasty corned beef or pastrami and the bakery = deli heaven.

The weekday breakfast special 7am-11am is great at $3.99 compared to their regular menu prices.

I had the half order ceasar salad and added chicken . The half order was huge! The portions here are huge. Everything is shareable. A bunch of delicious options, too many to choose from.

This tip will not do this place justice. The menu has everything you could ever ask for from a Jewish deli . Pastrami on rye with potato salad ...my go to. The bakery on the way out is amazing. Just go!

Everything is great here. For 30 years, never a bad meal. Staff are family, family owned and operated, fantastic people, fantastic food, fantastic service, best Jewish deli/bakery in SoCal too

Just had the peppered beef and genoa salami sandwich with french fries . So good. Def filling and enough for l8r.

High quality Jewish deli restaurant . Hard to find chopped chicken liver . Breakfast special every day. A real bargain. Wonderful fresh soups .

I love this place, the food is amazing, but the prices have gotten a bit out of hand. A tuna sandwich shouldn't be $17.95.

Almost everything. I alway have # 5. Get a to go container so you can snag some pickles for noshing at home.

Corned beef Sammy is awesome- generous portion reasonable price .. xcellent flavor .. be sure to get the rye

If you're fond of Black Forest cakes , it's a must try here! Though it's a bit high on the cream but tastes authentic

chicken cutlets are great for a lighter meal... roast beef sandwich is so huge.. you'll have it for lunch tomorrow
