Great tour docents ! Caren Pauley is fabulously knowledgeable about the antiques and furnishings. Great space to celebrate!
Highly recommend this museum as a venue for a special occasion . The docent mentioned that the Andersons intended it to be a place for "celebration." And so it is.
Built 1902-05 and was one of the largest and costliest private homes in the city . Built for diplomat Larz Anderson and his wife Isabel. Designated a National Historic Landmark in 1996.
