I love this market . If you love Japanese food and other items then you have shop here.
Cheap eats are the best kind of eats. Make sure you get the katsu don set and cry years of ineffable joy with each and every bite,
Eat at the ramen place ...get a side of the pork donburi on the side, fast and DELICIOZ
Pandemic tip: Line looks long but moves fast and relatively empty inside so you don't feel crowded . Come knowing what you want!
Check out Santouka Ramen and Matcha Love while browsing the store's wide selection of Japanese goods. But beware of lines ; this place gets crowded on weekends.
I made the trek from Oakland just for this Japanese grocery store . I would do it again.
Thinly sliced meats for Japanese cooking like shabu shabu , sukiyaki , etc. veggies not as fresh. Ramen Santouka inside is great
The Ramen at Santouka and the mochi at MochiCream!
Check out their weekend festivals , you won't be disappointed
Love Mitsuwa. Sometimes I make a special trip to come to this grocery store from Oakland.
There's an awesome ramen shop inside - parking is hard to find all the time but not as bad on weekdays.
great selection of sashimi and marinated meats but never go here on a Saturday or Sunday.
Their deli nigiri , sushi rolls and bento boxes have too much sugar and high fructose corn syrup . Hence the awful aftertaste
The fresh fish for sushi section is awesome. Check out the uni.
Get in early for a large assortment choice of lunchboxes and sushi to go
has everything a grocery in Japan would just about! is huge too!
Love Japanese food ? One of the best place to get some Japanese grocery
Good for anything Japanese to fill your heart's content. Go for the food court too but expect a crowd usually.
The ramen section in the food court is always packed, but worth the wait in line .
Try going on a weekend afternoon since there is an area where they sell snacks and give you samples.
Once a week there's this ramen place in the middle, supposedly ONE OF THE BEST in South Bay
Tons of good food shops in this supermarket !
Good quality otoro and hamachi !
When beer is on sale, like Sapporo or Kirin Ichiban , stock up. $13.99 for a pack of 24 is one hell of a deal.
Curry at the food court is pricy , but definitely worth it.
Don’t come hungry. Expect an hour wait. Worth it.
Try the kimchee ramen and you must have a calpico with it. It cools the burn!
Love their ramen !
Shortest crosswalk light ever spanning Saratoga Ave at Mitsuwa - don't blink, you'll miss it!
I thought it was funny that they sell the tiny egg salad sandwiches with no crust here, just like in Japan
Its food court is very good.
Love roasted chestnuts give me.
Looking for original dessert ? Check this place!
Try to find a car from a non-Japanese car company in the parking lot !
Great Sake selections !
Ramèn noodle soup
Ramèn soup
Yum. Hokkaido Food Fair
Second favorite ramen place .
There's a sushi deli inside the supermarket . But I don't really recommend.
Best Japanese Market around here!!
Selection isn't that great compared to other Mitsuwas
Parking gets terrible on weekends.
Fresh food !
Now go to the Mitsuwa in Edgewater, NJ.
They have Orion beer now! :)
Great lunch specials ! And tasty!
Never tried this, how about you?
Be careful at night. At around 7.45p on 11.24.09, several cars were broken into while everything was still open and busy. Muggings in the past too during the day. Nijiya > mitsuwa.
Michigan cream.
The salt ramen is excellent and worth the wait in line. - Lindsay Eyink
Kinokuniya book store has awesome Japanese stationaries and pens. It's a bit on the pricer side however it's still worth it. =) - Cindy Choe
Lots of food choices - Scott
Like this one better than others around. It's crowded but not like Almaden. Service has been exceptionally good over the years. Love it! - Ravneet Mavi
They have a fantastic selection of sake and Japanese candy. - Laura Wilson
Almost everything is $1.50, and come here for quality Japanese merchandise at discounted prices, especially their bowls! Also, they have a large selection of unique hi-chew and pocky flavors. - Caroline Deng
Amazing selection of sweet and savory baked goods. Lots of vegetarian options - I really like the fried veggie curry bun and the tofu sandwich. - AJ
