The shops are open a full hour after rides close down. So you can shop up until 1 am

If you do decide to make your purchase early in the day you can carry it with you on all of the rides or stick them into a locker all day. Things here are still cheaper than other shops!

You should buy your souvenirs early in the day and have them checked into the main gate for you to pick up as you leave.

On the way out, have a drink in your hand and a pretzel sticking out of your mouth... You'll attract surveyors like flies to cowpies.

Watch out for line sharks that like to butt their way infront of everyone at checkout and claim they never saw the line because it was "too crowded " despite the fact they looked you before they cut.
