Board an old-fashioned locomotive for a nostalgic trip around Disneyland Park! So soak up the scenery on this grand circuit tour!
Main Street, U.S.A. (at Disneyland Park) Anaheim , CA 92802 United States

If you run across the tracks right as the train is departing and knock on the door a man will come from out of no where and kick you out of the park . Great fun!
If your trying to get a ride on the Lilly Belle. Make sure you get to the parks first thing in the morning and head straight for the station. If it's hot and crowded Lilly Belle will only run once.
Really nice ride when you don't want to walk to every land. It's a life saver at night at the end of your day when you want to just get to the exit and don't feel like walking all the way.
That's right. You'll see deer AND dinosaurs from the train ride. Make sure you ride from Tomorrowland to Main Street.
Be fast, especially at the end of the day. People don't want to make room after walking all day, so get up front in the line so you can get on the train and you won't have to wait for the next train .
Great way to get to your ToonTown quest without doubling all the way back through Frontierland. Unless there's also a Thunder Mountain quest. Decisions, decisions...
This is probably one of the most nostalgia inducing attractions at Disneyland for me. Definitely go all the way around the tracks at least once. :-)
Save this ride for when the children are tired. If you don't want to go back to the hotel to have them rest they can ride around for awhile-eat lunch also if you brought it with you.
If you're here with a group from Club 33 and you call in advance, they will hook up the Lily Belle specifically for you. Ride all day in style! (After you get for free, of course)
Great way to start off your tour if Disneyland. Keeps the kids busy while you and your other half look at the map and plan your day.
Line can be bigger here but I think they move fast than the other stations as most use this as a on/off round trip location.
You never know which station will have the shortest wait. Grab a Turkey Leg , sit back and enjoy. Especially from Tomorrowland to Main Street.
If you're riding from the Main street stop, be sure to look to the right of the train for the Mardi Gras decorations!
In the late afternoon/evenings, trains get crowded as guests find an excellent excuse to rest their feet for a few "grand circle tours " or take a nap.
At Christmas time , be sure and see the Candlelight Procession. It is a Christmas program of music and the spoken Christmas story. Fantastic.
The tapping is actually from a man trapped inside the train station across the tracks . He has been trying to get someone's attention for years, but everyone thinks it's morse code .
Fast way to exit park . Jump on and get off at Main Entrance. Plus the Grand Canyon, now and then is dope!
Try and get a cab ride if possible. #5, Ward Kimball was once known as the Maud L @ Cedar Point. Disney got it in a trade for a less powerful engine that's now resides at Knott's Berry Farm .
There are no ramps or elevators . You must take the stairs.
Great way to travel to different lands when you are tired. Lots of Disney history.
Primeval World is my favorite thing to see while on the train . Dinosaurs and Disney magic? Just awesome!
Please scoot all the way down in your row... especially when it is busy! It is common sense. Don't be that person that holds up the train .
The morse code message coming from the train station is actually the opening statement of Walt Disney's dedication speech: "To all who come to this happy place: Welcome"
All the trains at Disneyland have travelled a combined distance equal to 43 trips to Alpha Centauri.
Best spot to get on the DLRR if you want to travel back in time to the Primeval World!
Tired of walking? Catch a ride to the front gate via the train . Makes stops at all lands including Toon Town . All Aboard !
Ask a conductor if the Lilly Belle train car is available & if yr lucky u'll b able 2 ride in this awesome turn of the century Presidential VIP car. It's beautiful.
If there are a lot of kids on the train with you, yell "ooooooOOOOOoooo" in the tunnels and they'll start doing it too.
If you see the Lilly Belle cabose on one of the trains , ask a cast member if you can ride inside. Sometimes they will allow if they have enough staff .
Always a great attraction to ride, especially after first entering the park !
Way better than waiting for the Monorail plus there's a trip through history. Dinosaurs ! Definitely ride for the dinos.
Go inside the station to see some cool relics and photos from the park 's early days.
Ask a conductor if the Lilly Belle car is on the tracks and if you can ride her. Guests cant ride without a cast member in the car making it a real privilege to be allowed. Read more
If you want to ride in the Lily Belle car , be sure to ask early in the morning!! The reservations fill up!!!
DEFINITELY worth the wait... but not the wait at the Main Street USA Station... nor the New Orleans Square nor Mickey's Toon Town Stations... just the Tomorrowland Station, to see the Primeval World.
The morse code you hear taping away at the station is actually Walt Disneys opening speach for Disneyland ("to all who come here, welcome....")
Beware of people trying to jump the line by entering through the back gate! No manners!
Ask to sit in the tender if it's available it's a really great new way for two to see the park !!
Ride the train all the way around the park at the end of the day. It's a great way to unwind after a long day of lines .
It's your birthday! Ask to ride up front with the conductors. You and a friend can sit behind on the shelf in front of the coal tender. Bring a coat. It gets a bit chilly.
Talk about a relaxing and fun way to see the entire park . All aboard !
Very comfortable benches while you wait. Station is hidden behind Autopia.
Listen closely when driving on new years night just before the train arrives from main street, you will hear the party music from the club
So many little details, so little time!
Say hi to Billie if he is there. He full of cool Disney info
The morse code you hear is Walt's Opening Day speech!
Keep your hands in the ride, or the dinosaurs might bite.
If it's really hot or rainy at all, don't bother asking for tender rides or Lilly Belle trips.
Taking a relaxing trip on the train .
The smells are part of the experience. The train , the dinosaurs , the grand canyon, they all smell distinctly different.
Relaxing atmosphere and good prices for large delicious portions. Be sure to get a piece of carrot cake for dessert. - Stephanie Cowell
