Best burger place . Seats like 10 people and has been the exact same for 100 years. Oh and try the root beer too.

Freshly drafted root beer , yummy burgers and fries in this throwback diner have not changed even with new ownership. Glad to see one of our favorites is still great.

Picked up lunch for the whole office . Staff was very friendly . Order was prepared quickly. Suggest getting their cheeseburger one of the BEST burgers in town . Definitely coming back again.

Get there early since there's only about 16 stools to sit at on the counter and even fewer parking spots . A classic burger ... super thin patty, crispy edges and cold frosty mug root beer .

Like a cross between Steak-n-Shake burgers with White Castle onions . Excellent root beer and old fashioned charm.

Yes, the burgers are good. But, don’t be surprised by the cranky service on the other side of the counter. I probably won’t go back; no burger is worth putting up with such bad/unwelcoming energy.

Food is very good but staff is typically rude and dismissive - will go back for the burgers still. Just don't expect friendly service or any gratitude for your patronage.

An STL classic. Rootbeer . Don't say you're ready to order if you aren't. Those ladies won't pleased if you are slow to answer to their questions, and they aren't shy about showing it.
