The City Museum has moved up to the top of my list museums to visit. It has everything! Adults, you're in for a workout! I would suggest bringing water to hydrate, you will need it.
I've been coming here for years and I never get bored with it. Wear old cloths that you don't care about. Bring a childhood sense of wonder and don't be afraid to challenge yourself. But just have fun
The most unique place I have pretty much ever been. You could spend hours here and never get bored, no matter what age you are! ????????
One of the top highlights of downtown. Pretty reasonable prices as well (even food and drinks are cheap ). One of the most unique, whacky, fun museums ever! For kids and adults .
Mind glowingly incredible! We couldn’t understand what everyone was obsessed with until we got there. So many slides to go down! Including a 5 and 10 story one.
If Frank Lloyd Wright had a love child with Amy Winehouse and that child built a museum with the rabbit from Wonderland while tripping on magic mushrooms
The greatest place ever created for kids and adults . Very cool in many ways. History. Culture. Architecture . Manufacturing . Art . Science. Nature. Animals. Bugs . Engineering. Medicine. Technology.
1. Wear comfy pants and sneakers . 2. Embrace your deepest desire to be a member of the Goonies :) I can't believe I had never heard of this place. It's incredible!
Locals and tourists alike know City Museum is a real gem in downtown St. Louis. To celebrate their 10th anniversary in 2007, the museum transformed into a music venue , hosting ska band Fishbone Read more
I grew up in the lofts above there with my best friend. Wouldn't change it for the world. Come one come all its a great place for kids and adults (ages 10 and up I would say to easy to get lost)
Kids and adults can both have fun here. Climb all over the place, go down a slide or two, and be sure to check out the roof!
Always so much fun...the last day for the World Aquarium which has always been my favorite attraction here. I'm always amazed at the gorgeous art and architecture ... Jamming Black Sabbath also helps.
Unconventional fun. It’s like a museum with no restrictions!
If you have time for only one thing, make sure to see City Museum. Great for both adults and children, City Museum is a giant playground that extends many stories into the air both inside and outside… Read more
More fun than six flags for the whole family. Adventure, physical activity, opportunities to learn, a day is not enough. Worth coming to st Louis just to bring the family here.
Take the kids out for a day of fun and entertainment. Climb through caves and explore the tree houses at one of the city ’s most popular attractions for children!
Although only a couple options, better atmosphere and food than mezzanine at Beatnik Bob's. Upstairs tucked away across from circus and by train . Also, good espresso and local chocolate .
Awesome. As long you are a kid or an adult that wants to be a kid for a day, you will love this place. Wear sneakers and shorts that you don't care about. Roof is worth the $5... more slides!
If you're visiting Saint Louis and only have time for one attraction , the City Museum is the place to visit. It's a wonderful playground for people of all ages!
I love going to the city museum but only when it isn't crowded . This last time I decided not to stay because there was just too many people to have any fun, but it was a Friday day during the summer!
Awesome for all ages. (I personally wouldn't bring kids too young to understand basic safety, though.) Bring a flashlight and bandaids. You might scrape or bump yourself, but you'll still have fun.
Pay the extra few dollars for the roof ticket. The view from the Ferris wheel is unparalleled! The world aquarium is also well worth the ticket... Do it all, it's money very well spent!
What life stage? Dating, engaged, dinks, parents, re-set, dating, grandparents? Something for everyone. So check your ego - all the cool kids are playing on hands & knees! P.S. has liquor license.
Very, very cool industrial metal sculpture / man made natural sculpture "playground " with huge slides and caves ...very fun for adults as well !
Created by a truly special man out of scrap materials, this playground is as fun for adults as it is for kids.
Get here early and go outside and beat the STL heat. The line for the big slide inside the west wall can be long at times. Keep an eye on it and hop in when you can.
AHH this place is amazing. The extra $5 is worth it for the rooftop , but the aquarium not so much. See if you find the secret way to the 10-story slide...
Climb , explore, drink. Best way to spend an evening in St. Louis. We love the cabin bar on the first floor.
His place is like Andy Warhol met up with Willy Wonka and made a great place to play.
Amazing place for family fun!!! Come with walking/running shoes , plenty of water, and well rested for a day packed with laughs and fun!
The restaurant is on the 3rd floor. Within 5 minutes of arriving for the first time ever, someone asked me that. Now I know, and you do, too! Also, there is one elevator . Strollers get annoying fast.
Really nice place to go with the family, it's worth paying those extra bucks to get to the top, amazing view add quite a nice slide
The museum is fantastic! DO NOT park in the lot directly across N 16th Street from the museum . Numerous reports of burglary and theft. We had an iPad stolen, other people had their van stolen.

If you don't like to play then this is not the place for you. BUT if you like to play and have fun and be a kid, this is the coolest place on earth. I've never been anywhere more awesome than this.
Less museum , more happy fun time. Like a giant treehouse maze, you will spend tons of time exploring and finding nooks and crannies.

Basically it's a fun house for kids and adults . Make sure to check out the 10 story slide !
I went for the first time yesterday. Loved it. Make sure you where tennis shoes , jeans and sweats. Kids go crazy there. Lots of fun and eats.
Everything is great fun here. Make sure you wear sneakers !! Our kids had a blast!!
Amazing place! Makes a kid out of everyone. They have a toddler town but it's probably best for 3+
The Museum is super interesting. Tubes all around it that you can navigate to. For sure a must visit.
An absolute must stop when in St. Louis with kids. Some that wander are not lost... and City Museum is encourages wandering.
More amusement park than museum . Worth the $5 for rooftop access since it's a bit less busy up there

Great place to visit. Friendly staff . Every corner has a different piece of art . Fun for the kids and a visual masterpiece.
Very unique and cool especially if you're trying to get to know someone...like a play ground and art show...pretty dope.

Great place to let kids RUN! Train for littles to ride, 10 story twirly slide, circus, shoelace making factory, crafts, caves, huge fish tank, tunnels, tunnels, and more tunnels! - Angela Sinkey
Very nice museum with always changing exhibits. I love that it is free, parking is easy to find, and there is a cafe located here. However, I was very surprised at how small it is. - Michael Morgan
Awesome FREE museum with a restaurant, hotel, and Triumph dealership attached. - Mike C
I highly recommend going to the top. On weekends plan to be in line for hours. We went during the week in August with no lines and saw the sunset. BEAUTIFUL! The museum is interesting as well. - Robin Marolt
