Crazy Indian restaurant ! So so big! Loads of rooms, you'll get lost. But they manage to fill it up on Saturday nights. Great busy vibe in there. Food is really good. You can bring your own alcohol ;)
Excellent food/price quality! Better than all the restaurants on Brick Lane. Expect queus during the weekend and you will not get a friendly small from staff . Definetly worth it, ORDER LAMB CHOPS
The go-to dishes are the lamb chops and dry meat , aka lamb curry , but tinda masala (baby pumpkin ) and dhal baingun (lentils with aubergine ) are equally unmissable. Read more
The best place in town when it comes to a fragrant, tasty big portions of Indian food . Lamb chops are the one! Is always busy, so book ahead. Great sticky desserts as well - an overkill.
Vibrant, bustling, with waiters whisking smokey crackling platters of deliciousness everywhere. The meat dishes are the standout here. Yes, yes, the lamb chops ! Maybe the best I've ever had.
Lamb chops , biryani , curries , everything. Not as spicy as they market it to be. It's delicious. Fast service and cheap . Great night out. Bring your own alcohol and no corkage fee !
Nice authentic Pakistani food ! Friends loved the lambshack and the lamb with chickpeas . I personally enjoyed the Karahi prawns . Everything goes well with mango lassi ! ;)
The lamb chop made me close my eyes, shed exactly one tear, and think about my mother. Get it.
The appetizer tikkas are amazing as is the lamb chop (the best ever). Decent portions if ordered in large. Best to share family style . Service ok but prefer one designated waiter .
Awesome and affordable Indian restaurant , a better value than Dishoom! Really recommend the garlic naan , chicken tikka masala , daal, eggplant , a jug of lasse, and if you're into lamb then the dry meat
What a great place. The food is spicy and delicious, the lamb chops are scrumptious and you can bring your own drinks! It tends to get very noisy , but if you don't mind, this restaurant is fantastic.
Few rules for this place. Book ahead, especially on the weekend. Get the lamb chops , you won't regret it. Bring your own booze, it'll make life cheaper. Relish the atmosphere of this authentic place.
Simply the best curry house in London. Chaotic and busy, but with the best food at very affordable prices . Service is idiosyncratic but perfectly matched. Lamb chops are a must!
start with the mixed grill, then the lamb karahi , which is juicy, packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. Get extra naan ! But the real star was the keema--it's like a party in your mouth.
Yum! Obviously the lamb chops but the fish starter was also really nice. And the dry meat was delicious. Everything is great - well worth the wait.
Online reservation system is easy. Don't plan to take leftovers, naan will be left ????
We were told this is the best curry house in London. We went 30 minutes out of our way on the tube to get here, plus a bit of a walk. 100% worth it.
Queuing for a table was worth the trouble, as the lamb curry and shredded chicken were amazing. Didn't realize it was BYOB until too late, so we had the Mango drink / smoothie which was perfect.
Cheap and good. Lamb chops are to die for. Bring your own beverages, no additional charges or corkage. Come in a big group and eat as much as you want and yet you'll find it hard to hit £15 each.
Great food at great prices, but absolute chaos getting a table at 6pm on a Saturday evening. Madness! Plus, you'll come out stinking of the amazing grilled meat , so don't wear your best clothes ...
The Lamp Chops are an easy choice. The Paneer Tikka is tasty too! Simple but delicious—get a plate to accompany your meal. If you don't mind a sweet bread the Peshwari Naan hits the spot.

Absolutely the best London has to offer. This place is a true gem, unbelievably delicious and tasty. Pakistani food at its best, as it it came out of Moms kitchen
If you can bide your time and wait in the queue you will not be disappointed. Fantastic quality of food with quick service . Would highly recommend the lamb chops and the shish kebab .
Grilled curried meat that’s what it is and really inexpensive ! Definitely book before going if it’s for dinner otherwise no possibility to have a seat! And bring your own alcohol , it’s allowed!
A London institution. Described by many as the very best place in London for kebabs and Tandoor roasted meats cooked Pakistani style. Meal for two, including service, approx. £40
Amazing Indian over eating experience! Good food and that lassi ... is to die for! Excellent naan as well and this place is huge and always packed
The best (and cheapest) curry in London! The lamb chops are a MUST! My other favourite dishes: karahi chicken , grilled paneer , palak paneer and Sunday's haleem special. Mmm...
I'm not a huge fan of indian food but this place was fantastic. Our party ordered several dishes and split them, family style , and they were all fantastic.
The food is good and the price even better. The Lamb chops are a must. Do try and get a table downstairs though as the upstairs seating areas can get hot and hectic.
Not exactly authentic Indian, but a Punjab hybrid that's equally delicious. Try the dry chicken , anything lamb , and Garlic Nan is a must. FYI- bring your own booze since no alcohol is served here.
Go here for the food, not the service. Curry’s are deliciously spicy , expect to feel them the next day. Lamb chops are a staple here. BYOB .
Definitely try the marinated lamb chops and the dahl baingun. Do make a reservation though; we waited for 20 minutes although we had pre-booked.
Anything from the grill/tandoor is fab! Lamb chops are still as good as ever, and the koftas are juicy and flavoursome. However the curries always seem like an afterthought and are average...
A long time coming but I was not disappointed. Really tasty meal and a pleasant surprise when the bill arrives. Great place for groups, and BYO !
One of the best, for sure. A very condensed menu with great food at a very reasonable price. Try to book as just turning up will usually mean a very long wait .
Amazing food especially the ribs ! Everyone takes them and they are perfect! Tikka Masala very good too! Staff a bit unfriendly but very efficient! 9/10
Good spot with basic, tasty menu but I wasn't blown away. We asked for spicy and our dishes turned out quite mild. Portions are relatively small compared with other places. Popular place so book ahead
The food here is delicious! Don't forget to bring your own (alcoholic ) drinks. I know, it sounds mad, but it's a lot cheeper than buying your drinks at the restaurant . This is normal here.
Amazing Pakistan food❤️ my first Pakistan meal and I live it. The popadom and the garlic nan there are so fresh and yummy
Lamb chops and lamb karahi both excellent. That is all. Make sure to book . Also, don't be offended if the waiters seem rude or don't take notes - they're ridiculously on top of things.
Still one of the best Indian restaurants in the area. Book , then be prepared to wait well past the time you booked for. It's worth it (if you don't mind the buzz and frenzy)
A short walk from Whitechapel station, this is the finest in traditional Punjabi cuisine and so popular, you’re guaranteed a bit of a wait. BYOB , with no corkage fee . Just remember to book . Read more
More then just delicious food! Sauces are amazing also❤️ Go for chicken obviously and bread is essential!
One of the best Indian restaurant in London, try the lamb chops and do not forget to bring your bottle of wine or some beers .
Food was delicious and staff were super friendly . Some of the dishes (lamp chops , samosas ) were too spicy , a bit outside my comfort zone.
Lamb chops and Karahi chicken are fantastic! Queues are long but they move fast. You can bring your own boose!
Food tastes great! Take the lamb chops as a starter and a small main dish after (each ~7£)
Lamp chops , dry meat , samosas are excellent! Be careful if you don't fancy spicy foods . Service was really good and polite!
Go for the special of the day and the dry meat and share. Also LAMB CHOPS
Different flavors and spices brilliantly mixed together! Try the chocolate pudding and some cocktails - Federica Mirra
Been there with my Pakistani friend twice and loved the food. It. An get a bit too noisy;) try the mix grill starter and the lessi drink :) - Mona
We ordered nearly every dish on the menu. One of the best meals I've had in recent memory. - Corey Reese
Standard east London pub - ok beer selection - really chilled - pool table - pub cat :) - big garden out the back! - Emily-jane
