Ng Ah Sio Pork Ribs Soup Eating House

The bak kut here served here is the pepper style not the herbal style. Remember to order the "Pork Rib " not the "Spare Rib " coz it's much more chunkier and tenderer!

BKT comes with a good portion of meat (if you get the regular one) with free soup top-up. Also recommend the preserved veggies & ngoh hiang.

Generous serving of pork ribs and broth is nice and strong. Thicker than the one at Founder down the road . Hard to say which one I prefer.

I have tried other ng ah sio branches. This old branch's standard is the best. Love their brown soup base. My fav bkt stall.

The place to go for Ba Kut Teh. Be sure to have the pork knuckles too!

The soup is nice but not fully robust, even large amount of pepper in the soup , the effect of its taste is not long to keep wow effect. The meat is good but also not memorable. Not bad but not good.

I personally prefer the taste of Founder's bak kut teh further down the same road . Try both and decide for yourself!

This is the largest air conditioned Pork ribs soup shop in singapore. The pricing is between $6.50-$8.50 per bowl. Soup is a bit spicy as too much pepper is added. Food wise average.

Tasty peppery bak kut teh . Paired with Kung Fu teas . we went for the potent Da Hong Pao.

The pork ribs is nice, if you want to order, please order the combo set, it's worth enough.

Tried the Tang-O vegetable . The natural herbal smell of the vegetable is so strong. Although I loves to eat vegetables but find it kind of weird.

The premium Bak Kut teh is very tasty. Meat is tender.

Famous for their peppery bak kut teh ! Prefer this any day to the Founders down the road .

The pork rib version is very nice and had bigger softer meat chunks.

Operation hours is from 7am-10pm.. Best Bak Kut Teh meal I ever ate complete it with their KungFu Tea of your choice.. 

Meat was so tough with no flavor. Founder and Song Fa are much better. The atmosphere at Ng Ah Sio is very cool, though.

One of the worst Bak Kut Teh due to the soup being over peppery & burns your throat if you've a weak one. Will not go there ever again as it burns my throat badly with the overdose of pepper .

Tried it again after a long while. Not as good as it used to be. Even the 油条is so oily. 老街 and SongFa are way better now. Disappointed and will not come back again.

Standard today was no good, for a bowl of $8 spare rib , there were only 2 ribs and they were so tough... Dissapointing... But the other dishes like veg end, liver and intestines were good.
