Everything here is fantastic, but I'm particularly fond of the yasai gyoza (veg dumpling ), the Tokyo Abura ramen (very spicy , no broth), and the craft beer list . That beer list is world class . Yesss.
Do not miss the steamed pork buns here! The pork belly is braised and caramelized beautifully, topped with gouchujang mayo and sweet & spicy peppers with a pillowy bun - it simply cannot be beat!
The fried brussel sprouts are fantastic! Go to pai mein on a weekday at lunchtime... they have a great weekday lunch special that gets you a two course lunch for around 15 bucks.
Pork buns were phenomenal, tuna roll was delicious, himayake was like nothing I’ve had before and I loved it! Cool atmosphere. Great spot for dates. Will definitely go back.
Take your time and enjoy this cozy spot . Grab a seat outside on a warm night or sit at the bar to watch your food prepared. Try a carafe of sake sangria , a few skewers and the brussels sprouts . Yum!
People rave about the brussels sprouts because they are plentiful and oh so good, the buns because they are unmatched. I like to ask for what's NOT on the menu . A Ginger Martini with muddled ginger .
Masa Miyake's noodle bar that's also a secondary showroom for his impeccable sushi . Don't miss the paitan ramen .
Bao buns , gyoza , and pokedon bowl were to die for. Ramen bowls are also incredible. I dream about the broth...
Andrew Zimmern is here, few tables down. Waitress said he was here yesterday by himself, i guess, he liked it, he is back with friends:). I mean that tells you it is a place to eat;)
Pork buns and the house (paitan) ramen make for a delicious and filling meal. Just be prepared for a long wait time as this place is insanely popular!
The ramen is delish! Also, try starting with the Brussels sprouts (pictured) for a great appetizer !
Tofu buns , sake , crab sushi and ramen . This is what you need to order here immediately on arrival.
really great but nothing you can’t get at any ramen bar in ny. you’ve tasted it before. Also skip the curry ramen , way too thick and the broth over powers the other flavors in the bowl
Amazing Brussels Sprouts . And pork gyoza . Also the tuna roll with toasted almonds was delicious.
This is my "classy " dinner choice for eating on the cheap . Delicious, filling bowls of Ramen run only $10. Appetizers are great too, but a little pricey if you're on a budget.
Get a sushi roll here. It is more than just great soups and dumplings folks. So good.
Call for reservations . Tofu buns and brussel sprouts are out of this world. The Tokyo Abura (without raw egg ) is my favorite noodle dish .
One of the top ramen spots I have ever eaten at. The pork buns were some of the most savory I've had.
Super legit ramen and pork buns sez this New Yorker
Pork buns are to die for!! The Tokyo Abura ramen is my favorite but they are all amazing
Excellent vegetarian ramen options! One with broth, one without
Pork buns and pai tan ramen . Add a side of pork loin to the latter for noodle excellence.
Great constantly rotating tap list (and sometimes tap takeovers) Order the pork buns . DO IT. Just... trust me.
If you've never liked or tried brussels sprouts , try these! And if you already like them, you'll love theirs.
The Mushroom Miso Soup and Japanese menu at Miyake Restaurant , in Portland, ME, is Alex Guarnaschelli favorite on Food Network's The Best Thing I Ever Ate.
Amazing ramen and great place in general. Loved it
Seriously, what can be better on a cold day than a bowl of hot, hearty, spicy soup ;)
Pork Buns !! The Pork Buns !! Oh my GOSH!!! So good!
Good sushi & ramen ! Aprox 15-20$
Tokyo Abura ramen is a must-try!!
The pork buns are amazing. They melt in your mouth.
Delicious pork buns and ramen . Great service.
The Kimchee Beef Ramen are beyond delicious!
Ramen is very good and worth the wait. Sushi was average.
Hitachino Nest "3-Days" beer . Only keg in existence, left on its own for 3 days after the tsunami, made it through amazing!
Fantastic drink specials at the late night happy hour from 10pm-close!
Thank you for the tip! Pork buns ARE AMAZING!
