Supposedly, "The Best Cuban food in Los Angeles!" (Local legend) El Rincon Criollo on Sepulveda "was" the best Cuban food in L.A. (lines out the door) until their lady cook left and opened Versailles.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their Lechon Asado w/ plantains . (Beans are AMAZING!), followed by the Lomo Salteado then, their Camarones de Ajillo. their desserts taste like any other of the same name! Yucca Fries
The lunch specials are a good size and most are around $10. The parking lot can be difficult especially the part in front of the restaurant .
Everything is awesome but you got to have the dish roasted chicken with garlic mojo ! Dive into more interesting dishes such as the oxtail ! You will not regret it
Its all about the mojo criollo sauce...or rather the garlic sauce . Buy extra and keep it in the fridge to have with other kinds of chicken . Its ghetto fab but you'll appreciate it. ;)

Get the pork/garlic chicken combo if it's your first time but the chicken will steal the show. Then go to the gym to burn off all that delicious oil that your plate is soaked in.
