This is a new feature and a great place to get close to the rushing waters without paying $14 to get drenched at Cave of the Wind- which is fun you can also watch from here.
Make the time for a walk to this tiny little island . Great views ! And a little unsettling to be on a strip of land so tiny in the midst of so much powerful water.
Luna Island is an absolute must do. I can't wait to visit again in summer 2013 when the new landscaping project is complete.
Gives you a great top-down view of the Bridal Veil & American Falls as well as the Cave of the Mists!
You can get a close up view of the American Falls , and look down on the Cave of the Winds decks.
As you walk around Goat Island towards Luna Island, be sure to take the lower path - beyond beautiful!
