The Twin Peaks are two hills with an elevation of about 925 feet near the geographic center of San Francisco, California. Except for Mount Davidson, they are the highest points in the city.
100 Christmas Tree Point Rd (at Twin Peaks Blvd) San Francisco , CA 94114 United States
get dropped off at the NE corner (Burnett/gardenside) and take the trail going up. be careful, it's not the safest of climbs, but gives you beautiful views of downtown as you ascend to the top
One of the most amazing views of any city in the country . It's the heart so you get a 360 view . Look for the spots you want to visit. Windy .
One of those spots you see in the movies . Great romantic , panoramic views of SF when it's not foggy . Checkout the colorful houses on the windy Twin Peaks Boulevard. Parking sometimes an issue up-top.
A must see for any San Francisco visitor. Park in-between the peaks and hike to the top for a view across the entire city , Golden agate, and Pacific Ocean.
It’s always foggy in SF specially in Twin peaks but if you wait you can see the sun hitting the city . Gorgeous view . Extremely windy , bring a jacket . Go around midday.
One of the absolute must-see views of San Francisco , along with Treasure Island and Fort Point
I would recommend the relatively flat and quite comfortable ascent via the "Twin Peaks Boulevard" and, for example, taking the 48 line to the "Portola Drive & Woodside Avenue" stop.
Walking up the trail from Sutro Towers with Ernie! We start at the Reservoir & walk down Mar View to the trail after the fence on left & up we go! Or wecwalk up the kikers steps from Crestview!
Try it at night. Beautiful view and stunning city lights. Totally worth the walk up.
Try to get up here on a clear day! The view of the city is terrific. I always try to come at the start of a trip, so I can return if the weather is foggy the first go round.
If you have a car, be sure to head up to Twin Peaks Summit on a sunny day for panorama views of the city . And the drive up is just as enjoyable as the view .
Spectacular view of the city - but be sure to come on a clear and sunny day or a clear night. I'd recommend coming both at day and night.
The Twin Peaks summit is one of the most popular spots in San Francisco with a 360 panoramic view of The City .
One of the best views of San Francisco ! The best actually! It's a different experience at every time of the day. It gets really cold, so be prepared!
The vistas from up here are incredible. On days sans fog, one can see from the Golden Gate Bridge all of the way to the other side of the summit.
If you're visiting, this is the best way to get a view of the city . For those who bike , its a solid effort-to-view ratio
Pretty crowded with tourists and can be dangerous at night.
Those views are simply amazing and mesmerizing ????
Great place to watch the fog roll in. Great close-up view of the Sutro Tower as well .
It's so scenic and you get the best views of SF here! It is extremely windy so make sure to bring a coat!
Great view of the city of San Francisco. But don't forget to take a coat, it's VERY windy up there!
Awesome! Make sure you got some water with you, because there's no water fountains , only restrooms on the top. Oh, and make sure you have quarters for the binoculars .
Take in the view . It's amazing during the day, but so much better at night. Definitely bring a jacket , it will get cold.
Most complete & breathtaking view of the city , bridge to bridge . And almost every part of the city from one spot, all except the sunset , but you'd only see fog there anyways. Pano that ess.
What a view ! Went in the afternoon, which ended up being great time as the morning fog had already burned off, giving us scenic vantage points.
Go up there on a nice clear day and you can see the city of San Francisco. The scenery is amazing!
Spectacular view ! Must bring your friends or significant other with you, definitely a perfect spot to take a date to. It gets very chilly and windy up here so be sure to wear layers.
Beautiful views of the city . Public transport doesn't reach the summit, so you will have to walk, bike or drive, but it's really worth it.
Bring a jacket ! Can be very windy/cold, but also, it's one of the coolest spots in San Francisco. Take pictures overlooking the entire city .
One of the better lookout points in the city on a clear day/night. This is a pretty popular spot so it can get crowded .
Such a wonderful view point to the whole San Francisco, the bay and Alcatraz and Treasure Islands ! Spectacular!
Leave the crowd behind at the view point, take the wooden steps to both the peaks and enjoy the view .
When people come in from out of town , they all want to see the Golden Gate Bridge . Take ‘em here instead. With beautiful views of the cityscape worthy of a Will Pearson photo, they’ll forget the rest.
On a clear day this is a perfect vantage point to see the entire peninsula and beyond. Essential stop in San Francisco.
Great views and a nice walk! It can get quite windy .
Pack water and snacks , and let a summit picnic be your reward. You can also drive up the Eureka North peak if hiking 's not your thing.
go here at night. and its best to drive up to the top - you can't walk here. it has amazing views of the city .

The most beautiful sights of San Francisco. If you can beat the fog of course
It's windy up there and the wooden steps are filled with rocks but once you've made it to the top, you realize it's totally worth the climb.
The only one place can takes my homesick my anger and gives power and happiness! I’m wordless sometimes tbh ????
Must go up the hill to watch the scenic view
Big wind in the day. So it's much more freezing compared to lower ground. Be prepared for the weather!
