This outlet has Baird Beer to go along with your tonkatsu . Never disappointed with Saboten. The halibut seasonal special was really good - soft, flaky fish cooked just right.

Elizabeth Lee

Free flow of cabbage with ur crunchy katsu . The loin katsu is really yummy with its fatty bits. Set meal also comes with miso soup , chawamushi and dessert .

Ting

Always satisfied after a meal at this chain of tonkatsu . Other outlet at 313 B2. Large loin set ($24) comes with silky chawanmushi and free refill of crunchy cabbage and gd quality Japanese rice .

Cheen The Curious

Enjoy the shredded cabbage salad before the tonkatsu . In Japan, it is believed that the vege fibre helps control absorption of fat & oils. Drizzle some sesame dressing for flavour

Cheen The Curious

What’s on your table? From left: black sauce to dip cutlets with, sesame dressing , soy sauce , pickles , paper napkins & toothpicks. There’s also disposable chopsticks & wet wipes

Cheen The Curious

Make your suriguma sauce to dip the cutlets in. Crush the sesame seeds (abt 70%) to release the oils. Pour in the black sauce & mix. Dip is ready

Jack

The best Tonkatsu in Singapore, hands down. Service is good and the set menu includes green tea ice cream as desert .

Cheen The Curious

The complimentary ice cream served (at lunchtime) was rock hard. It was supposed to be matcha flavour, but it was WAY too creamy. Resto replaced with yuzu sorbet , more refreshing

Cheen The Curious

Pork loin katsu (150g). The batter was refined but uncertain abt the cutlet itself. Not as juicy & flavourful as I’d like it to be

Cheen The Curious

Miso soup is served with a porkball (mixed with some chopped organ ). Adds flavour to the soup

Cheen The Curious

Pork loin katsu set ($27.50, 150g). Free refill for rice , soup & cabbage

Cheen The Curious

Yuzu sorbet was refreshing. Bits of yuzu within

Eugene Yap

The seasonal oysters menu is awesome. Usually from Nov to about Mar.

Yi Min Tan

The set meal with the appetisers doesn’t seems worth it. Getting the sides as ala carte is better.

James Lee

The quality is surprisingly good. The deep fried pork and seafood are crispy and tasty, and the size is quite bigger than other similar shop nearby. The price is also little cheaper, so a great place. - Torzin S
