Rice plate with one ($5.10) or two meats and cabbage ($8.50). Required: Chunks of siu yok, crispy-skin pork carved off a whole hanging carcass. Also worth ordering is Kam Po's roasted duck ,

Daniel T

Great value - portions are huge and highly affordable . Vegetables are fresh. Hong Kong style cooking makes this a must try - we had breakfast here everyday during our 5 days stay in SF.

The chef know his recipe for the cheap price This place is worth it . Gravy seafood chow fun , bitter melon with beef , gravy shrimp egg , the list goes on

Get the porridge with preserved duck "ham " and century eggs . So many layers of richness.

A hole in the wall place with really cheap food. Great pan fried noodles , soup , congee , and rice plates if you're willing to make the uphill walk.

Matthew Siy

Get the roast pork and Chinese broccoli over rice . Extra crispy skin on the pork is heavenly!!!

M.C.

Cheap , generous portions ! Impressed by meaty duck pieces. Lots of slurping, lip-smacking tablemates though, sigh.

Timothy Hong

Roast duck is amazing. Seafood chow mein also on point. Very affordable .

Black Pepper Beef and Rice is delicious. Cash only !

A real neighborhood spot . The chow fun is a little oily for my taste but you can't beat the porridge . $3 bucks gets you a glass of tea and at least a quart and a half of jook.

K

Ask for a receipt because the waitress tried to overcharge us.

David Newton

The custard pastries are very egg-ey and delicious. My personal favorite, however, is the rice cake, which is moist and spongey and subtly sweet. - Tobias Schmidt
