This is my favorite Taco Shop in SF! It reminds me of the actual taco stands in Mexico. Bite sized meat and tortilla tacos with no frills and great salsas ! They also have good Veggie Burritos .
Always open later than any anything else. Suadero and Buche tacos are not to be missed, but the hidden gem is the vegetarian burrito menu. I'm not even veg , but the cactus burrito rocks. Tip highly!
Vallarta has the best tacos and burritos in the city . The carnitas burrito is always delicious and so filling. It has great salsas to go with anything you order. Read more
Best tacos in the city . Get one of each kind. And some yellow habanero salsa , and apply gently.
Al Pastor , Suadero, and Barbacoa tacos are the best. Pollo too for variety. I've tried all 12.
Badly lit, kind of dingy, and there's a weird stand where all they serve are tacos , with a do-it-yourself salsa bar . But damnit if the meat selection isn't top-notch, subtly seasoned, and awesome. Read more
One of the best places for street tacos in SF. Beware though - Their quesadilla includes an obscene amount of cheese .
Try the Elotes (grilled corn ) - My favorite cheap late night snack on 24th. It's just a cup of corn , cheese , and cayenne pepper . They call it "escite" here. (ee-skee-tay)
Best as a late night spot ...fresh made tacos at the front. I don't think I'd recommend any of the plates. Just the tacos
Love the lengua torta . They don't skimp on the meat and layer the toppings well . Serious amount of jalapeño so be aware
Great taco stand at the front. Don't bother ordering anything off the menu , none of their menu items are as good as the tacos .
The tripas tacos are divine. Crispy , flavorful-- add cilantro and onions (plus your favorite sauces) and its heaven.
The tacos al pastor here are cheap and tasty. Grab some ice cream around the corner afterwards at humphry slocombe.
I’ve been coming here for tacos for 20+ years. Still my fave!!
Ugh those tacos at the front cart, all day every day forever. Get the lengua , al pastor , and carnitas . Repeat.
Awesome Lengua and Al Pastor tacos with super atmosphere and open late for quick snack !
The fastest way to get a taco in the coty! Ask for your choice of meat at the fromt counter, add your topings yourself. Pay. DONE!
Totally legit and a bit more flavorful than Taqueria Cancun. Head straight for the taco stand in the front of the restaurant and have the lengua , cabeza and carne asada .
One of the neighborhood favorites that opens pretty late. On the richer & oiler side; many vegetarian options .
Suadero, Barbados, carnival , carne asada tacos are the best. Horchata and corn too.
The normal burrito de carne w/ beef was great, and the whole place had that real authentic vibe.
Go on the adventure. Beef tongue . Intestines. ???? The standard protein offerings are fine. Those stand out.
Tacos . Simple. Delicious.
On late party nights, the taco line is longer than the full menu line , so pop your head in and check.
The beef tongue and carnitas tacos were delicious! Great late night spot .
The Al Pastor tacos are ????????
Some of the best tacos in town ! The green salsa is good. Delicious Alambres, and solid burritos .
The place smells weird but the tacos are amazing! The street taco cart is fun.
Great authentic street tacos
cheap and delicious. look up, there's illuminati art on the ceiling.
Try the habenero salsa . It's spicy , hit, and somewhat fruity .
They have an awesome Taco bar open late . Tacos are $1.75 each.
Street tacos are solid
Best tacos in The City , hands down. $2.25 now, still open after last call.
After a night out, must have tacos ! These are the best!
Ask for cheese and sour cream on your tacos at the register
I think this is the best carnitas I have ever eaten in SF
This place is great. Authentic Mexican food in SF. Can't beat it.
This is the place for tacos , meaty and satisfying and simple.
don't be a noob. order your $1.50 tacos from the stand in front... not the back counter. salsa verde ! (and plenty of seating in the next room...)
Corn ! And chorizo , carnitas , and everything else.
Maybe the best tacos in San Francisco. Try the cabeza .
Super burritos are indeed super! And huge
Awesome tacos . Get at least four if your hungry
4 al pastor tacos from the stand up front; $2/each, yum!!
$0.75 chips with as much salsa as you want. AHHH!
Great vegetarian burritos and salsa .
Al pastor forever.
The carne asana burrito I had was hella good.
salsa and chips were amazing, veggie tacos and spicy calamari tacos were really good. try the kale salad and picante margarita ???? - Pavan Kulkarni
Carnitas, chorizo, carne asada are all good, easily the best taqueria option around 18th and mission. - Baturay Akaslan
My personal favorite is a carne asada and chorizo burrito with cheese and hot sauce. Grilled to perfection and accompanied by a lime Jarritos. Never disappoints. - Michael K.
The prosciutto ice cream is imbued with the flavor of pork, but it’s completely smooth and lucid and wonderful. - Mike Thelin, Unique Eats - Cooking Channel
On cold options Mint mojito is awesome! And for hot coffee, Greater Alarm is also delicious. Love this place! - Desiree Sanchez
Mac book land! Free wifi. Love the patio. Great quiet space for working. Staff are nice. Very good tea selection. - Jocelyn Tran
