As you can guess by the name, this is a tea place. Has really good scones , but also a decent selection of wraps/sandwiches and lunch food.
Went for breakfast ! Delicious eggs benedict , great service and amazing tea options!
Nice, quiet place for tea lovers
Matcha latte rating: acceptable. Mind out because they make it with honey unless you ask them not to.
Charming place and cozy , but I was still hungry after the egg Benedict .
For all the awards they win, the staff here always seem clueless
Wonderful freshly baked scones and excellent teas !
Try the Lunch Box special. £7.95 got a toasted sandwich , a side salad and a huge piece if cake .
Scones and teas are delicious! Always busy though.
Delicious and good service . Had high tea . Nicely presented.
Chocolate Abyss chai latte was surprisingly good
Received glutenous food in a gluten free order and dairy in a vegan order. Do not go there if you have dietary requirements.
I loved their take on a London Fog .
Lovely tea , lovely scone ...portions of jam , cream, etc decidedly niggardly!
Mismatched china, kitsch decor and the best value Afternoon Tea this side of the border!
Lovely, Will Miss it !!!!
Fantastic tea rooms . Sooooooo busy though. Don't be scared of a 5 minute wait.
????????Love it
Our flowering tea was served in this pot (pictured) even though they stock clear pots. Lack of care. I used to love this place but the less they seem to care, the less I want to come back.
Really good!! But it's always busy :(
Three words: Awesome Assam Tea . Truly awesome! Read more
I was excited how cute this place looked.. But we were disappointed by our lunch , the fact it took half an hour for a sandwich and our clumsy waitress . The tea was the only good thing.
Try the flowering rose or Jasmine teas .
Nice afternoon tea . Stale scones though. Suspect the grannies were not up baking them first thing this morning.
Was a regular, but was turned away on sat as they were full - said I would wait, only to be informed that the cue was full - there where only 5 people waiting, probably just 2 tables, such a shame
Had a lovely afternoon tea here, although was marred by our somewhat abrupt waitress
Try Blooming Marvellous for a deliciously vanilla-y green tea !
The staff are lovely by the way!
Jasmine Pearls tea for the win!
They ran out of scones
Standards are slipping. Today's server didn't know how to pronounce rooibos and probably didn't know what it was. Shame. I used to love Eteaket.
Good luck ever getting a table. Standards are slipping as well . Definitely not as good as it used to be.
Better than the tips would make you believe
Saturday, 13:00 and they are out of croissants !!!! :( this makes me sad
Waited 40 mins for a coffee today. Disappointing
Got up and left, no scones left, only cakes with nuts and waitress described the cake options as a bit rubbish...!
Screwed us out of our booking for 8. Leaving it impossible to find high tea elsewhere last minute. Best to avoid. Plus it's got less charm than Starbucks.
I LOVED this place!! It is super cute, we had lunch, the food was homey and tasty. We also had tea and cakes... Delicious :) - Chryssa Oikonomidou
All cakes are to die for delicious. Especially the apple pie. Cute environment. The host, I assume Mrs Forsyth, is the cutest ever. Definitely a got pit-stop in Edinburgh! - Kornelija Maceviciute
Great views, good layout, great display of the history and culture, I liked exploring - Candice Rivera
Amazing menswear. Off beat food. Cocktails on the terrace in summer! - William Kay
Lovely in all seasons and plenty to explore. With the added bonus of places to pick up coffee. - Laura
