If you ever get invited to a party here, GO! It's a grand old venue with an interior courtyard ! Check out the old vault downstairs.
Check out the frosted windows on the 2nd floor at the rear. Local blogger Larry See calls this the “mystery room”; it's now stripped bare and there's no record of what occurred inside it. Read more
Great place to visit to learn some interesting history of the minting process xx
This is such a beautiful historic building . Check out the vaults !
Popular place at night for the homeless but they usually don't bother anyone
Apparently not so much a museum as much as it is an "event space ."
The power of grumpler is growing
Event Space
Reopening as a museum ...
Taking forever even though we started at the front -- no one's gone inside in the last 20+ minutes and we started just after 5ish so not even peak time. Lame!
The Old Mint hosted SF's 1st (and hopefully last) haunted house for Halloween ! Terrible long lines and not very scary costumes .
Horrible non-haunted experience. Huge lines , bright rooms, and nothing to scream at.
Horrible experience.
