Finsbury Park

Beautiful green space for exercising plus a free open air gym . Not to mention multiple play areas to keep the kids busy. What more could one ask for?

One of my favourite parks due to the diversity of activities here. Head to the far East side of the park past the boats for some space from the crowds

The playground here will keep kids amused for hours. There are fast slides going into the sandpit and really tricky climbing equipment to challenge older children, plus lots for toddlers to enjoy. Read more

Take a stroll through McKenzie Gardens , enjoy the variety of blooming flowerbeds. Admire the boating lake , Henrietta Heron & pals on the grassed verge. Finish with ice cream from the cafe by the lake !

What's not to love about London parks . And it is where I first playing Tag Rugby in London, helped make my London experience. Give it a try!

Free 5 mile parkrun every Sat at 9 is very popular.

Wonderful for running - safe, picturesque and great for people (and fellow runner) watching! 3 laps of the outside ring is approx. 5km.

Decent size park with lots of grass open spaces . The northwest gate connects to the parkland walk along a abandoned train line project.

Cute little park hone to a small skatepark, a pond , a few tennis courts and a sunday djambe group session!

Very dry at the money with the heat, but a great size park and fry close to Finsbury Station

As with most of Finsbury park area, watch out for dog poo. People here still don't understand what to do with the droppings of their pet .

Park Run - free 5k every Saturday at 9am

Saturdays at 9 am there is an organised run. Quite nice!

Short cut to Tesco (Stroud Green Road ) or Sainsbury's (Green Lanes) through the park

Most people don't realise this park is in Harringay - actually most people probably don't care.
