Thistle London Heathrow Hotel

It's an old school conference centre. Very clean with friendly service . Great views of the planes taking off from the restaurant . And take the £5 pod to terminal 5 in 5 mins, they come every 30 secs!

Rooms provide all basic needs including iron, bath (with fixed overhead shower ), super new large HD TV , comfy bed , good pillows , crisp sheets. Was staying in a standard double this time.

Easy access to T5 via Pod cars that wizz you to & from the Terminal in 5 minutes for £5 each way collected by the hotel on behalf of the airport . Pod shown in photo. Choose station B for the hotel .

A cheaper option than the Sofitel for T5 and lacks a lift so you have to lug your suitcase up and down stairs. Basic double rather dated apart from large new wall mounted HD TV .

To get there for free, take the 350 to Duke's Bridge and then cross the road at the first path you come to.

Free and reliable wifi . Hoppa Bus goes right up to the front door. Long corridors and no lift access to rooms.

Not much to look at. And 5 pounds per person each way seems steep for the pods. Take the 423 bus instead. Room and bed are tiny but the bed is fairly comfortable . Some staff don’t speak English.

Nice to stay for one night. Around the Heathrow airport . You can enjoy the airplanes from breakfast room. However, they don't have wifi and transfer to airport for free.

Free WIFI , which is great. When your neighbour decides to take a long shower at night, you'll not sleep.

Only ok for overnight stay. Rooms are tired and the restaurant doesnt open for lunch .Take the free public bus right outside the hotel instead of the "pod" to Terminal 5.

Why dont walk across for excellent breakfast value at Premier Inn across the street. Open from 5.30 weekdays!

Ok to stay, on Hoppa bus route, go to the White Horse pub for a meal, out the gate, turn left and walk for about 600 yards. Macdonalds about 500 yards if you turn right, for those so inclined.

Evening meal was excellent and a great view of aircraft landing!

Bring your own pillow , some earplugs, and thank me later!

Pod to T5 is pretty awesome, easiest terminal connection

Seems the rooms have been tarted up. Clean and functional.

Fairly standard hotel . Lots of corridor . Quite confusing finding the restaurant for breakfast . Room was clean . Whole hotel feels like it needs sprucing up.

When I book a hotel/parking deal I don't expect to be parking on a grass verge for two weeks. Won't repeat.

This has got to be the world's most horrible hotel . If you haven't already checked in, do yourself a favor and pick ANY other Heathrow hotel .

Ignore the moaners. It's cheap , 5 mins on 51 hoppa bus from Terminal 5. Tired rooms yes, but very friendly hard working staff .

Grotty room with peeling wallpaper. Miles and miles of corridor . Totally uninspiring breakfast .

Take bus 423 two stops from Terminal 5

Very tired hotel , smells, noisy , hot, small rooms and not the nicest place at all. Wouldn't recommend!

Don't stay here. Terrible service. Terrible smells. Toilets don't flush. Have waited 1.5 hrs for room service and recd the wrong order.
