This is the diamond in the rough in Hilton Head. The best seafood you will find here, I had a platter with calamari , alligator , and conch , blackened, and it was surreal, great spice!

Best seafood I've ever had at a place that offers it for low prices. Very affordable . Can't go wrong with calamari & all the sides are great. It's the definition of a great hole-in-the-wall place.

Didn't look like much from the outside. Don't let it fool you. Best seafood on the island ! Get the Shack Attack. You can't go wrong. Prices very reasonable. Oh and don't forget the Mac and cheese !

Best shrimp burger ever. Thick flavorful shrimp needs no sauce. SWEET potato cornbread . Great flounder burger . Meh breaded fries . Outdoor seating . Tasty Blueberry key lime w/ excess cream. Local gem.

Really good food. Long lines but well organized . Plentiful portions but beware of pricing disparities on menus and signage. A price increase disclaimer is posted. Ask for the price of your items.

Great food, don't expect custom service. They won't sub or accommodate anything other than direct from menu ordering. New ownership reduced experience from original owner who made it hot "hidden gem ".

If you love good tasting seafood , you won't be disappointed. It's a dive so don't expect anything fancy . Staff were very nice

A 'hole in the wall ' super find. Fresh and lightly breaded Shrimp and fish ... huge portions with 2 sides we could not eat it all.

Crab cakes and shrimp were soooo good. Great sauces too. Would definitely go back.

Exactly what they promote:"Not Fancy , Just Good!" 1 of my fav places on HHI. Get there early...I mean EARLY about 60-90 min before doors open. Worth the wait, can't go wrong w/ Shack Attack Combo

I had the fish & shrimp & it was really good. Long line that took almost 30 mins to get in the door, order & be seated but it was worth it.

Best salmon ever! Crab cakes were tasty. I could probably eat at least a dozen of their hushpuppies . Try them dipped in butter.

Conch fritters were great. Buffalo shrimp on the po boy were good and spicy - I ditched the bread 1/3 of the way through.

If you're dining as a pair, order the shack combo and an appetizer . More than enough food to share and absolutely delicious.

Not fancy , but good fresh local seafood ! Big portions . Long waits in summer at peak lunch hour, get there early to avoid long lines . Good hush puppies too!

The line looks long but it moves quick and the food arrives even quicker. Great dive!

The place has delicious sea food . There is always a crowd so get there early.

Didn't get here until 15 before the doors open. Big mistake! Waited two hours to order takeout . Great food. Do take it to go as there are only a handful of tables.

Great selection of food. All of it was great. Worth the wait, don't try to grab a table before you order.

Get here at 5pm when they open for an early dinner so you don't have to wait an hour.

Make sure to ask for some "gator sauce" great dipping sauce for shrimp and crab cakes !

Long wait.Website not updated.Once u get in u see the actual menu, rushed to order.Ppl in line staring u down to get in & staff rushing to get u out.Stressful dining experience.Food not worth 1hr wait

Love this" hole in the wall " place, hidden gem .

Great food, but the management could use WAY MORE tact and common courtesy when interacting with customers. The unnecessary rudeness of the manager turned us off from wanting to come back here again

The shack attack is perfect if you can't make up your mind.

You will prob wait (I hate waiting anywhere) - but this food is def worth it.

The alligator appetizer was delicious

We have 10 people at 1 sitting. Waiting for everyone to leave so we can sit down...Haha.
