You can book lunch in the House of Lords dining room when the government is out of session - definitely worth doing. You get to see more of the space and the meal is very good! £35 flat rate.

The House of Lords is less important politically, but they meet in a more ornate room, and the wait time is shorter.

It's very red, gold and regal in here. The kind of room that I think we could all see ourselves having as another kind of area of a nice home, however thrones do not come small judging by this one.
