Gee Whiz Diner

Finally found a diner that knows how to make a great breakfast in Lower Manhattan . This beats all the fancy hotels and other breakfast places in the area by far!

They have a lunch special called "Business persons lunch ". You can get a decent burger with soup and fries for about $10. Also comes with a soda . Not bad for a NYC diner .

The prices have gone up quite a bit & the size of the servings have gone down. We used to come every week or two but we now choose to go to a fancier restaurant since the prices are similar now.

Our go-to local brunch spot : big portions , everything is good!

One of the best and reasonably priced diners in Tribeca. You will not be disappointed.

I ordered the California Turkey Panini ... I did eat it all, however I'm not sure I liked mixing melted cheddar cheese with Turkey , cranberries and guacamole ... Something just off with that taste

Love the Veracruz Salad . It's like a cross between nachos and salad , with generous helpings of avocado , tomato , pico de gallo -- yum! Nice big portion , too.

Well worth the price! Fries are delicious, sandwiches are mouthwatering, and the menu is expansive.

The French dip is delicious, as well as the hand-cut fries served alongside.

Friendly staff , good food, affordable sit-down spot in an otherwise unaffordable area.

You can craft a $12.55 Reuben get the pastrami triple decker with a Swiss and a side of 1000 island dressing

Sit by window for people watching ! Good food, most entres can feed 2 people

Cosy diner . Lumberjack hit the spot, as did the OJ

French Toast is great. Fresh squeezed orange juice .

Delicious taco salad . Big enough for 2 people!

Better come in a suit or they'll be to anxious for you to leave as soon as you had your last bite.

Their yogurt with granola and banana/strawberries is really good-homemade granola too.

An NYC diner that gets it right for once. Late-night breakfast done right. Too bad it closes at midnight.

Typical old style diner . None of that fancy smancy food but good transitional diner food !

The food was pretty average (I had a late night breakfast ). If I hadn't been so hungry, I probably wouldn't have eaten as much as I did. Definitely not going back lol.

Try the Tuscany or Milano panini

Buffalo burger is pretty good. A healthier alternative to a beef burger !
