Pub-ish bar and my favourite local place. Nice and quiet on weekdays, nice and crowded on the weekends. Maybe the only place to go in Lower Clapton?
Don't know if it was the OAP sat next to me bar-side or the pub itself that smelt of Bengay/Piss. That said, there is a cosy/chilled feel here and Sam Smith's Pure at £3.50 a pint is hard to sniff at.
Great little bar for a quiet drink with interesting characters. Not too self aware like other bars , but unique enough to be special - and appeal to those with an air of creativity
Changed a bit in the last 4/5 years. It's now the Back to the Future II version of the Biddle Bros of old
Slightly weird, but only a way that can be described as wonderful. Come
A great place to chill . No attitudes here.
My favourite local, chilled bar with random live music and random furniture
cool art pieces decorating the wall
The Parrot
Most excellent local bar . Very friendly .

Cafe So Vegan popups here with a small and tasty menu, open 7.30am till 4pm Wednesdays to Fridays, then for brunch at weekends. - Daniel Demmel
Great Boozer. Thurs-Sun special menu is available with some really Nice Chilli and a Burger on the go. Any other day is Pizza and Panini which are enough to fill a hole. Kitchen open til 10pm. - Lawrence Kitson
I love the mulled mead here. Also, great range of board games (if you like that sort of thing). - Sinead Doyle
Pembury Tavern has - for the first time in years - genuine competition for best pub in the neighbourhood. Great beers, lovely interiors, good food menu. - Patrick Smith
