Nice & very quirky pub , good service and nice staff . Sunday roast is good but to be honest anyone could cook the same at home. I don't agree with the 9.4 rating. Lots of yuppies , family and singletons

If you're not a rugby/football lover, avoid the back as it has a huge TV there and it's usually packed! Appart from that, great music and beer , + a terrace at the back :)

Good for groups . Large and spacious . Nice mix of people. Informal service. Roast is well priced although not as filling as other places. Don't go really hungry

Very spacious with a beer garden and dog friendly . Do a superb Bloody Mary and it's reasonably priced too at £4.50.

Pembury Tavern has - for the first time in years - genuine competition for best pub in the neighbourhood. Great beers , lovely interiors, good food menu.

Sensational roast (very quick service ) and a great selection of ales . The Kapow pale ale was a highlight.

The food is hit or miss and so is the service. Beef sirloin roast was dry and not impressive. Friends said chicken was really dry. Pork belly looked like the best choice. Halloumi fries is ????????

a great pub , but avoid it on Saturday afternoons, when it turns into a fucking creche for the worst sort of yuppie Hackney parents.

Food isn't of a good quality. Fish and chips today should be top notch considering the simplicity. Burnt, very greasy battered fish . When asked how was it the responce was rude and arrogant. Avoid.
