Small but well maintained. Make you you have something the kids can get wet in, plenty of places to play in the water to cool down.

Small but well-maintained. But, when one or another of the areas is closed for renovation, it makes it noticeably smaller. Membership is worth the $$, as is the $5 souvenir cup (free refills!).

Because of the park like setting, we enjoyed walking around the zoo . We would have liked to have seen more animals though.

Wasn’t thrilled with the size of habitats or “breeding for conservation” program African animals and birds and monkeys all need space!

Lions and tigers and bears . Great layout and great price. I couldn't believe it wasn't more crowded .

Kiddos can run in the fountains to cool down so have them wear a swimsuit underneath their clothes .

Bring a refillable bottle for water, especially on the hot days!

The veggie burgers are made to order and aren't bad! This zoo is really clean . Bathrooms have AC too!

Chicken tenders are good. $4.50 with out fries .uncruyabkes in fride are $2.50. Reslly great atmosphere. Animals look well cared for. Habitats are clean .

All Norfolk college students (ODU, NSU, TCC) get in free.
