Bustling, high-energy restaurant that is always crowded . Delicious food, and our go-to place to celebrate a special occasion .
Good vibe going on, Japanese chefs yelling out to each other, and food is good. Great stuff! Take a seat by the counter to follow the chefs .
Great place to get yakitori , the meatballs were good. Friendly staff who are very attentive. This place is pretty loud since the staff shout practically everything.
Any and all things! But also the meatball , pork belly wrapped scallops , and basil chicken were amazing!
Delicious yakitori ! Get the pork belly , chicken gizzard , chicken skin and beef tongue .
Everything is good, but if it comes off the grill its spectacular!Tebasaki, flap meat, and the mini chateau briand are all delicious.
Do not leave here without trying the quail eggs wrapped in bacon . Delic! ★ Also, $5 lunch special on Mondays & Tuesdays!!! This place is awesome!!!
Fortify your meal with the addition of asparagus wrapped in pork belly , grilled quail eggs , and slightly charred enoki mushrooms .
The energy is great here. Very loud , but delicious. Try the pork belly and the skirt steak skewers !
very good food! super loud though which doesn't really bother me except we made the mistake of trying to hold a book club meeting here hahaha.
Shrimp and scallop wrapped with a bamboo leaf is a must
Need to order some beer with your meal. It's an experience!
Come here on the 29th of every month for lunch and you can get shabu shabu for 50% off. I think you have to be there between 1 and 3pm.
Happy Hour - $1 beers , $6 pitchers . This place is legit. Great experience and even better service. Highly recommended.

Super yummy. Excellent yakkitori, very up-beat, bring your ear plugs if you don't like loud .
Dangerous food, but oh so good! None of the Shinsengumi restaurants are anything but great.

Nothing beats fresh grilled yakitori + chilled plum wine !

OMG! One of the best tempura I’ve had outside of Japan. It’s the real deal! Fried in fragrant sesame oil doused in their homemade sauce! I’ll go to Torrance just for this! - Lucille Fisher
Great yakitori and oden. Liver and tongue are must gets!! As always, get a pitcher of cold beer on draft! - Danny C
Ichimi-an specializes in soba and udon, both hot and cold, which they make in-house. Try the hot buckwheat soba with mochi or the cold, green-tea flavored soba, served with umi plums and shiso. - LA Weekly
Homemade tasting, deliciously flavored Ice Cream. They stock about 3-5 flavors daily, but they rotate them weekly. I have never been disappointed. This is the Hoke Pokey & Nutella - Louis Guerrero
Anything in the bakery section is Good. Try the Salmon burger, very tasty. The fries are crispy, which is a plus for me. - JEANNETTE TOVAR
One of my top ramen spots in the area. Grab a Kirin or Sapporo and relax after work or a day out. One thing...place tends to get busy at peak hours and no reservations taken....just FYI. - Matthew Gold
