Now playing: MOTOWN: THE MUSICAL
205 W 46th St (btwn Broadway & 8th Ave) New York , NY 10036 United States
Donna Summer is an absolute MUST-SEE: BEST singers , costumes , sets on Bdwy! ALL ORCH seats are good but especially ours (ORCH Z 5+7) w/ a restroom on same floor for disabled & handicapped.
Motown was one of my favorite musicals ever. Sneak you're own bottle water in and use the restroom before the show. :-) or you'll stand in a huge line down the stairs. (Especially ladies)
Motown was fantastic. It was a great feel good night of great music and good storytelling. Make sure to get there early. If you are coming by cab be aware that traffic is awful at that time.
This is actually one of Broadway's oldest theaters which was built in 1910. This theater has the best viewing angles and not a single uninteresting musical . Motown, Tina, Summer were all phenomenal
Best damn show ever, from marvin gaye to diana ross, jacksons 5, stevie wonder and many more! Must see if you love funky music .
Seats are actually alright. Motown is on for another month. It was a lot of fun even for me who didn't grow up in the US. You will have a great time if you can make it!
The theatre is beautiful. Came here for Sweeney Todd. It is incredibly difficult to understand the actors, at least from the upper seats.
If you’re going to sit up high, get the last row. You can store your bags on a ledge behind your seat and make a super quick exit by using the staircase behind the last row center.
The cast was terrific. Everyone shined. I learned new facts and have a new found respect for Mr. Gordy! A great evening of Broadway was just experienced. A night to remember.
Great theater with a great history. The seats were a little tight but they are like that pretty much everywhere on Broadway.
Saw Motown the Musical . Venue was great. Friendly and helpful staff . Close to lots of restaurants . Near Times Square.
Ghost was an absolutely amazing show. Every aspect looked beautiful. The singing, dancing , and acting were nothing special, but the special effects made this show amazing.

Show (Finding Neverland ) was fantastic! The lounge area where they crowd everyone into before show starts was super small and uncomfortable, especially with children.
The Addams Family was AWESOME!! the synergy with the players and the interaction with the audience was just great, Nathan Lane , Bebe Neuwirth, and the entire cast made it a great experience...
When the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre was built in the early 1900s, it featured a retractable roof to keep theatergoers comfortable .
Enjoyed two great shows here. Drinks are very expensive .
Nice restrooms downstairs...actors come out of stage door pretty quickly
Classical theater experience the restoration of this theater is a jewel Manhattan should be proud.
Want to cut out on bathroom lines ? Head across the street to the Marquis! Second floor will be open if there"s a show or if not elevator to 8th floor lobby!
Summer isn’t the best musical I’ve ever seen but it was fun. Mezzanine seats are totally fine
It was such a fun show! Couldn't stop tapping my feet to the songs the entire time. A must-see.
DYK? THE SOUND OF MUSIC played at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. It opened on November 16, 1959 and ran for 1443 performances . It went on to win 6 Tony Awards, 2 Golden Globes and 4 Academy Awards!
Get a Coke from the bar during intermission, it comes in a cool souvenir travel cup for only $5! Great deal!
Amazing show. Saw it twice with the original cast each time, including Nathan Lane , krysta rodriguez, wesley taylor, kevin chamberlin, carolee carmelo, and terrence mann's final show on March 6th! Gr.
Had the opportunity to see "the little mermaid" from Disney here, the theater is amazing!
If you love this guy, go and see finding neverland .
Great jukebox musical that happens to have one amazing freakin' jukebox .
If you like Peter Pan, you will enjoy Finding Neverland ! It's very magical
Beautiful theatre and Finding Neverland is breathtaking!
Orchestra seats. So close you can smell the actors, and worth the price.
Such a great show!!! Highly recommend
Worst theatre on Broadway. Most of the orchestra has obstructed view seats unless your in first 5 rows. Save yourself the money and see the whole picture of the show by sitting in the mezzanine.

Camp as camp can be and amazingly funny!

I watched Finding Neverland here. Really beautiful!
Got $30 SRO tickets at 1.30pm on a Saturday afternoon. Great deal!
Go prepared to sing and don't be afraid to get up and dance !
Front row mezz is just as good a view !!
Ghost was okay. Great chemistry between the leads, but really weird choppy book . Sam's ballad is best in the show.
The only broadway theater with a retractable roof (although it has never been opened).
Did you know the Addams family house was modeled after Syracuse University 's College of Arts and Sciences building?
Great show! Just like the movie and so funny. Highly recommend!!
Rachel Potter is incredible. Her and Jackie Hoffman make this show worthwhile. Brooke Shields on the other hand is just a let down. Glad I didn't pay full price.
Order the My Girl or Motown Margarita from the bar .
