One bathroom for 14 theaters? Seriously? It’s on the second floor, so make a trip before the movie starts, or you could miss the pivotal scene while making the long trek.
If want to go to many movies for the price of one, this is the place to go! Since they rip your tickets at the bottom, you can just walk around after your first movie and, well , you know. ;)
I really like the stadium seating at every auditorium at AMC 34Th Street 14 and this place is bigger than the movie theater in the Bronx
This movie theater is a amazing I've never seen a movie theater that's is clean , spiciness and snarkiness I must say this is a amazing AMC Theatres location in NYC I been to
There are no restrooms on the ground level – you have to find them upstairs past the ticket paywall.
Although Lincoln center has the best IMAX experience, this 34th st location has a great balance for large variety of showings in recliner seating. Solid option for those with AMC stubs.
Needs to be renovated and get a modern update. The screen and sound was fine. I wish they had seating in the lobby while you wait for friends.
Shitty that they have minimal concession stand staff best case. They also monetized their frequency club and provide them a separate line .
Fairly large movie theatre with plenty of screens. We were stuck 2nd row but the screens are well equipped. Large screens with clear picture and great sound. Don't go 2nd row!!! Duh, I know.
Nice theater. Concessions on the upper floors.
#TeamGStyle held a group outing at this location to see Iron Man 2. Cool movie and a great location to watch a movie . After your done your close to shopping and good food, try the Tick Tock Diner .
Very standard fare for AMC. Clean , nice seats, spacious , and AMC always offers matinee shows.
$7.79 for a movie tickets are cheaper than the PM Showtime now wonder I paid $7 bucks for a movie tickets , purchasing large popcorn for $8 bucks but the IMAX is still fake although is a good theater
Huge beautiful theater with amazing sound and great seating. Tons of concessions, but if you want more for your bucks go to Chipotle, Quiznos, DD and other nearby locations.
Stadium seating multiplex theater impressive , nice seats , Air condition , and finally freestyle soda machine I love the way they take care of this theater
The best Movie theater in the City of New York and the place is never dirty , pack and noisey. This Movie theater is always clean
Went to go see a preview for Dracula...loved the movie , but too much yapping by guys (acting like little kids). Make sure you choose your seats correctly and away from assholes, otherwise great movie .
Been here a couple of times, good cinema ! Just make sure you don't sit on the first row, too close to the screen. Popcorn is great :)
Awesome movie theater but the imax is aint real just like the AMC lincolin Square 13 and also want to see a real movie with a big ass real imax screen go to AMC Lincoln Square 13
Come here for nice movie experience , but DO NOT see an IMAX movie here. It's a LieMAX. Lincoln Square has the best IMAX in New York City .
My favorite movie spot, there is a Duane Reade by the corner for good snacks , and a diner at 34th and 8th for those hungriER
Stop by Jacks 99cent store on 33rd street for drinks and snacks before going to your movie to save on movie snacking . Also before 12 pm the tickets are 1/2 off
Relax and get away from the hectic city for a bit. This theater has one of the biggest screens e.g. one for IMAX. Go see the best movie before noon to catch a Matinee
I enjoy going here everytime, it's lovley because there's Baskin Robbins right next to it, ice cream shakes all the way.
It's not a bad place and they usually have the movie you're looking for but it's a huge negative you can't go up until exactly 30 minutes before your movie . I was 40 minutes early and couldn't go up.
if you get there early enough many of the theaters have two 'reserved ' rows that are usually not taken. nicer seats with tables.
Dated theater in need to an update. If you can make it across town , AMC Kips Bay is a lot nicer.
My favorite theatre in the city . It's right next to Penn Station. And it's never overcrowded.
This is a big theater that's centrally located and going to get all of the latest releases. Only one ticket taker on a busy Saturday
Really good theatre. Doesn't get too crowded . Reserveable seats.
Getting an early am or afternoon show is the best!! No crowd at all!
The IMAX here is just one of those big screens branded IMAX. It's not a real IMAX ! Don't be fooled! (Lincoln Center is the best alternative.)
Go to The AMC on 42nd street more theaters tons of bathrooms never packed and they have a smoking terrace on two levels skip the previews and spark one up.
Some of the theaters have a little table every second seat. Is a nice touch.
Parking in the area really is a pain. I usually park 10 blocks away & opt to walk. Stadium seating is my favorite here since I'm short :b
Clean and large like the theaters in Times Square with about half the people. #worthit
Reserved seating is a great option. Concession lines are way too long and takes too much time as the food comes from the back.
Has a decent size IMAX screen , I would attend this theater during the day about avoid it on any high traffic night as it will get crowded .
They have a great selection of food here AND they have matinee on shows before noon. Just watch out for bums though. There's a lot of them here somehow.
Great for movie hopping. You only show your stub at the way beginning and then you can hop between floors (bathroom is on its own separate floor).
For the ppl calling the imax here (or anywhere else) fake: imax is the quality of the digital image projected onto the screen and the superior sound. It is not # of seats or the size of the screen.
I like that you could put any amount of butter on your popcorn
Huge theater, tons of screens! The theater is on the ground floor of Stonehenge's rental building, The Olivia. Check out the roof! Read more
If you need leg space, this isn't the theatre for you. But it's more out of the way than the AMC at 42nd street.
apparently the IMAX theater is "flooded" and closed today so get here early to swap out your tickets!!
This one will be less busy than other AMCs most days. If you want to switch it up and not get popcorn for once, give the chicken tenders or pizza a try, they're not terrible.
Easy to sneak snacks in and great place to watch multiple movies . Guess we weren't the only ones ;)
They are selling fountain drinks, if you have the rewards card, it costs $12 a year, you can pay for a medium and upgrade to a large for free.
Nice Theater to come early and spend the day in staff hardly cares
Be prepared to walk up quite a few flights of stairs to your theater but trust me it's worth it.
Usually pretty busy on big releases but a nice theater non the less - N Martin
I like this theater. Lots of options, comfortable seats. Popular movies get sold out so make sure to book in advance. - I K
The 4dx experience was really fun. Also I really liked how calm and not crowded was the place although it was in the center of New York. - eatsmylife
Amazin CHIKEN burrito!!, I Order it without the rice but amazing!! - Lic Robles
Good chicken wrap - fresh and healthy .. And has feta cheese AND served with chips and salsa - good price if you want something quick - MsDrefromtheBay
