It's my go to theater because it's close to transit, nice clean stadium seating, and staff is pretty responsive once I put in a complaint for disruptive movie goers.
Blind people: audio description available and they know how !use it. We used 7 devices with just a little trouble getting them going at the start of the film . Manager Diana was a star troubleshooter.
theater is good. enough bathroom for everyone. I just wish there's a button to call staff whenever there are assholes ruining the momentum of screening time - like texting while watching.
I saw Star Wars VII and it was great! Watch out for people walking out of the theatre spoiling it by accident.. Especially little kids will just want to talk about the biggest secrets!
Buy tickets online beforehand so you can just walk straight to your theatre. If you need to use the restroom and there is a huge line , walk up or down a floor and you'll find one in the same location.
Believe the hype. The Balcony in Theater 4 really is the way to go. And I'd avoid the first row because the balcony railing will obscure your view .
Ginormous theater. Reserveable seats. Friendly staff . Clean restrooms .
If your movie is a blockbuster and is scheduled for theater 4, go straight to the second floor, all the way to the back. It will fill up later, and you'll get to enjoy the movie with better seats.
A notoriously crowded movie theater , due to its location. Try to snag a balcony seat if possible when catching the latest flick .
Massive theater with huge seating area. So many empty seats on a Friday night, we felt like the only ones in the theater
Very old school look. I'd love to see old 70s Kung Fu films there and the audience would get all turned up. Like in that movie "The Last Dragon." Everyone is so pumped watching Bruce Lee films ...ya...
Convenient city location for a wide selection of flicks . Super crowded for popular movies on opening night, get there at least an hour early. One of the theaters has a balcony (4? 6?) Use it.
The popcorn is an add your own butter place which is cool and you can enjoy discounted prices with a membership, it is a clean theatre too
20 minutes of commercials prior to showtime at otherwise good clean decent size theatres.
get a regal club card. they're free, and you get killer rewards, ranging from free snacks to free movies and more!
Old and outdated theater. Small screens, old and worn seats, very dirty floors, BO, can’t preselect seats, and is very much overpriced. Service is usually very friendly though.
Get a Regal Crown Club Card. Every $1 you spend goes towards free movies , popcorn , or soda . Come on Mondays for $2 Candy & Tuesdays for $2 Popcorn . Free to sign-up at box office . Name & Zip Code only.
The popcorn is great!
Decent theater - their snack bar has a lot of different offerings, including chicken nuggets !
If you're seeing this movie in Theater 9, it's a sharp left as you enter the 2nd floor lobby/concession area. Good film , especially for '60s rock and R&B fans.
Great movie theatre but when I saw one movie they had the Hunger Games event happening and everyone in my theatre was getting upset for the sound.
Mixed feelings here. The stadium seating was quite nice and comfortable . And the concessions were reasonably priced for the sizes. However, there was a rat in our theater, running around... Ugh.
If you ask nicely, the concessions lady will give you a nachos dish to make it easier to share your giant-ass bucket of popcorn
One of my favorite movie theaters because of how it's setup. Beware, the butter for the popcorn machine will probably be broken.
Gr8 loc. and after the movies or b 4 u c site see, shop n the many shops and lots of food choices. U can get a movie card and rec all sorts of perks.
I used to reward myself with a movie here in this theater. I remember the movie Arrival was one of the rewards.
If your theater is jammed when you arrive - look up! There are usually plenty of seats in the discreet balconies some of the theaters have.
The theater will always be packed. Get there early to grab some good seats. Get seats before you get food.
If you go see movies regularly, the free Regal Rewards card is a must. Earn free popcorn , soda , and even movie tickets. AMC charges for their card.
Great place to see a movie in the city . That's me with 3d glasses on top of my glasses.
As always with Regal ADA wheelchair seats are full of non handy mobility impaired patrons and my companion was not able to seat with me...any ADA lawyers who read this please contact me-lawsuit time
A little cheaper and easier to handle than AMC Empire. If you can't brave the tourists , want to save a few bucks, and already downtown, this is a good bet.
I love this movie theater . It might just be my favorite in NYC.
this is actually one of my favorite theaters in NYC. great seating and I usually go see a movie a week after release cause the madness is over.
When ordering the hot dog sliders , make sure you open the box and check it out because they will give you dried out dogs and who wants to eat that!?.
Save your 3D glasses, buy a ticket for a non 3D at the same time than your 3D movie and bring your glasses, the go to your 3D movie for cheaper.
This place is always busy. Which is always fun for premieres and seeing blockbuster movies . No stadium seating here though. Sit in the balcony if you can.
Why wait in line for self-service or the ticket window? This Regal accepts mobile ticket scanning. Buy with Fandango or other ticketing apps and go straight up the escalators.
i went to see furious 7 and they had some issue with screening so we got a full refund AND two free tickets for each
The 4DX theater here is insane!
The kids that work concession here are the slowest ever. It doesn't help when movie goers act like ordering some snacks is some life altering decision.
The screens are nice, bright and up-to-date, but the seats leave something to be desired, as they put you at what feels like a 45° angle. Good for a rocket launch, maybe, but not a movie , IMO.
There is a bag check. So, if you're like me and sneak in food, make sure to hide it good.
Screen 9 has serious image problems. Huge yellow marks, presumably on projector lens, but maybe someone threw a slushie at the screen? Vertical lines that look like bad seems on the projection surface
big screens around every corner. a visual experience on every floor
Never found it very crowded on a weeknight, but definitely order tickets ahead on the weekend.
Nice movie theatre, smaller theatres but always has a wide range or movies .
Get there 30 min early if you don't want to sit in the first row. Gotta love NYC!
Great theater..Clean and convenient.. Use the self service kiosk to avoid lines ... Avoid on fri and sat nights.. Weekends arrive 30 mins early for a good seat.. Concession takes forever.
When your theater has a massive line check to see if it has a balcony . Always better seats up there but don't sit in the front row or the railing will block ur view .
It's a cute little theater, & the popcorn is always fresh. - Rae T
Stadium seating, friendly staff and away from the tourists. One of my fav theaters in the city! - Norman Ellis
I like this theater. Lots of options, comfortable seats. Popular movies get sold out so make sure to book in advance. - I K
The sharing for two is by far the best here! (it's more than enough for 3) - Paulina Daire
Best breakfast in the area. Reasonably priced, healthy, fresh, and a great view of the park. - David Billotti
Big park! Free Wi-Fi. Perfect for date nights, nice view also. - ImSo_Brooklyn
