Their signature shio ramen . Noodles , bamboo shoots , mushrooms , a pickled plum , slice of fish cake , sesame seeds , scallions , and chashu (pork ). The broth is a blend of pork and seafood stock and oil.
I'm fond of the am special spicy miso ramen . My spouse prefers the salt ramen . Best (and, only) found in the US.
Best ramen in the OC besides Costa Mesa sister locale!Yamadaya is good but does not compare to the full taste lingering umami flavor of Special ramen soup here!Plus Special pork is so tender!
Authentic ramen , easily accessible in Mitsuwa Japanese grocery store . Bring cash because they don't take card.
Santouka got their system down! Same as the Santouka in Mitsuwa Costa Mesa , but this one has less wait! Spicy Miso is the best.
It's all about the number seven special pork . And don't forget it's cash only !
Always a go to for some spicy miso ramen ????
Tsukemon Dry noodles with concentrated dipping sauce .
Great authentic ramen for a great price.
Good ramen , shio is the best. But "Yamadaya" in Costa Mesa is better.
Cash only , miso ramen
Good place for ramen , but you have to pay in cash
Bring cash, and the spicy miso ramen is the best.
Try the Toriniku Spicy Miso Ramen - Pork cheek (not sure which cheek)
Try the Spicy Miso Ramen - Best meal on a rainy day ..
Santouka has amazing ramen , but the location at Heritage had a horribly rude cashier - she completely spoilt our experience, and we could not enjoy our food at all. 0/10 for service.
The sake and ikura is good #42
Large ramen with egg . (^__^)
Best ramen
Try the Salt Ramen - Finally! Santouka (Mitsuwa) in Irvine!
Best ramen
Try the awat on the awaaaat
Try the Spicy Miso Ramen
The food at their other shop is superior at the Mitsuwa in Costa Mesa. - Carlos G
Never disappointed here. The great, little Japanese bakery inside Mitsuwa. I love the twist donut and melon pan from here! Also their soft serve ice cream is a very capable option to cool down! - Martin D. Ciao
The equivalent of a 99 cent store from Japanese. Lots of stuff you will not find anywhere else. - John Olsen
Authentic Japanese supermarket. Definitely recommended if you've never been to one. It's a little small - and not cheap - but always a delight, even if you're just window shopping! - Neal Schaffer
