River Dock Cafe

We are in NYC and require service. I came here for a drink, sat down, and after no one approaching me to take my order, I went to the bar to order my own drink. Views are great, though.

Outdoor seating required food purchase. Food focuses on seafood , but there was fried cheese and slider hamburgers . Very enjoyable location with excellent view of Manhattan in the distance.

Stopped in 2 ask 2 see a menu -plenty of paper ones on hostess table - and they wouldn't give me one. Minus 10 pts for lack-o-courtesy, plus 15 for the tank of lobsters . They're lucky they have a tank

Great sea food place & nice view

Food was mediocre at best. Lobster roll wasnt as meaty or tasty as expected, esp for the price and the crab cakes were ok but the sauce pairesld with them overpowers the taste

Horrible customer service. Fought with us on staying when there was a hair in our fish and the steak was way over done and their solution was to offer sauce. Even the manager tried to argue with us.

Don't expect good service . We left after no one even bothered to take our order and there were tons of wait staff just standing around.
