Charging Bull, which is sometimes referred to as the Wall Street Bull or the Bowling Green Bull, is a bronze sculpture, originally guerilla art, by Arturo Di Modica that stands in Bowling Green Park in the Financial District.

Another must visit landmark . Almost impossible to get a pic without people in it but still great. Grab it by the balls, legend says you'll come back, i did 6 years before and it worked!! ????
The back of the bull is just as popular of a photo op as the front of the bull ...strange. I don't know the guy in the pic but he just seemed way to happy with bull testicles in his hand.

With tons of people fanatically molesting the bull , not sure if it's worth the pain. You'll end up w/ a group photo w/ you squeezed in the middle, 20 people looking away, and a couple of horns maybe?!

After 2 years of work in his studio, sculptor Arturo Di Modica completed the 3.5 tons and 18 feet long sculpture in 1989.
Charging Bull is 16 feet long and weighs 7,000 pounds. Di Modica spent $360,000 of his own money to make Charging Bull. The statue is technically on long-term loan to the city .

Be VERY aggressive if you want a picture, tourists will jump right in front of you with their whole family as if you were invisible! Get your picture and get outta dodge!

It's sadly nearly impossible to get a picture of the bull without some tourist in your shot. A symbol of economic power lost in a sea of foreigners.
Get there early as the lineup grows quickly for pictures.
