Taken here as a guest by friends who live in the area. Absolutely amazing food. Friendly staff treats their VIP customers like fam. I can see why this was our host’s go-to hotspot. Would come back ????

Live music , great crowd, and tasty Cajun food . If you arrive and there's a wait, try the cozy upstairs bar with first come first serve high-tops and outdoor terrace .

I brought some leftovers for work. I don't remember the name of this, but it was amazing. Shrimp , chicken , crawfish were in this dish. The drinks we're amazing as well . Order the Bloody Mary shot.

This is a MUST HAVE when you are in Charlotte. If you are vegan/vegetarian, please ask for the sautéed veggies over mash or rice because it's not on the menu .

Second place is not that bad. There is no replacement for New Orleans food while in New Orleans but everything is absolutely wonderful. Hard to pass up live jazz . It can be loud but well worth it.

The Cajun pasta was flavorful and oh so good! The ambiance is awesome for an intimate nite with your significant other or with some good friends.

Service was great, food was good and I enjoyed the jazz band . The only complaint I have is about the valet parking . The guy that took our car was not very friendly .

It's obvious their food is cooked over a wood fire . Tasty. Every time I come here the mahi mahi never let's me down. The drinks are strong and the food is delicious. If you want music too go upstairs.

The New Orleans BBQ Shrimp is to die for! Be sure to get extra bread to sop up all that goodness in the bowl. Live Dixie Land Jazz 7 nights a week too.

Crawfish Etouffee was delicious, as was the Blackened Catfish .. The Red Beans and Rice was a little bland for my taste, and the beans were hard and undercooked.. Will return to try the Gumbo ..

The crawfish etouffee is to die for! The Voodoo beer is also wonderful when paired with the fried oysters with remoulade sauce .

Everything on the menu is awesome. Especially if you like spice! BBQ shrimp , étouffée , shrimp and grits .. Can't go wrong. Live Nawlin's style jazz plays upstairs as you dine.

Great for dates or big groups or take out. One of our favorites for a long time! Music is loud so if you want to talk try for downstairs.

Absolute best idea I've had yet for Hubby's birthday!!! Was very noisy but the overall ambiance was great and the FOOD was SUPERB!!!

Best steak especially with the diane topping. they give you big portions and everything is great.

Great food, fantastic service, even though there was a big party and it was packed, we felt like the only ones there. We'll definitely return! Make reservations though.

The best cajun sauce I've ever had is in the BBQ Shrimp dish . It doesn't taste like BBQ at all but it's so amazingly good!

Fried Green tomatoes are my favorite! Shrimp and grits is probably the best in the area

Just be warned beforehand: if you plan on sharing an entree, there is a $5 "split fee" (I feel that's ridiculous) BBQ shrimp app was so-so, creole and key lime pie were delicious

Pricey but amazing. Get the Mahi-Mahi, and please put some toppings on that beast!

Back room was nice and quiet . Food was wonderful!! Loved the bread pudding too.

Crawfish Scampi is awesome! Crawfish tails Sautéed with garlic , white wine , scallions ,parsley and a "Bayou Blend" spices.

Unbelievable crayfish scampi the atmosphere was superb and the service top notch.

The food is good, but a bit pricey , staff busy, busy but nice!!!

Brunch is the best but cheesecake is also so good.

Good gumbo even better ettoufee. Brunch is phenomenal!

Get seated upstairs in the evenings and jam out with the 7th street Gator Band.

The Bloody Mary mix is house made and awesome. Also. This is the only place this far I have found that makes a Sazerac ! It's even on the menu.

Skip the entree and go right to the Oreo cheesecake ! Oh my... So good!

Just had their biscuits and gravy . Wow! Whoa! So good. Very original take on the dish. This is a must try. Brunch only.

Great drinks but quality of the food was poor. I don't mind paying a little more for better quality but the prices here were outrageous for a giant plate of rice with bland sauce and frozen meat.

Chicken Diane is amazing!! Skip the BBQ Shrimp .
