Order the salmon special.I've been a dozen times & it's always been on there -I've never been disappointed. It's an amazing blend of flavors. The guava flatbread & the corn appetizer special are great
Small and intimate , so it gets busy during prime dinner hours.Delicious fresh passionfruit juice and margaritas . The empanadas were authentic and tasted very good. Great value .
This casual Venezuelan restaurant serves old-family recipes that blend dishes indigenous to the Andes & Caribbean. Don’t leave without trying the torta fluida, a Venezuelan molten dark chocolate cake . Read more
I have yet to try a dish I don't like, everything is amazing. I'm a vegetarian and both my meat eating friends and I always leave with happily full bellies.
Great empanadas , including the verde. I tried the arepa pernil too. Really good, really affordable (and filling) antojitos. Will return for entrees.
Amazing arepas , along with delicious casual Venezuelan food of all kinds. Get the sangria and try to sit on the patio .
The stuffed corn cakes known as arepas and the palmito salad (greens, hearts of palm, jicama, and bacon-wrapped dates) are musts. Read more
Some favorites from our review: fried sweet plantains ($4.25) and the pepito de carne ($7), French bread stuffed with sautéed onions , grilled flank steak , red peppers , tomatoes , and sweet red sauce . Read more
Sangria , ribs with guava bbq sauce , plantains and the guacamole were great. Combine appetizers with a main dish with guac
Grab a seat outside with your La Jardinera arepa , and soak in the view .
Great brunch . Unlike the Brookline Village location, the South End location doesn't have a full bar , but the food is always so good!
Their portions are slightly small but everything we tasted was delicious! I'd revisit in a heartbeat.
Pa' Los Gringos and La Pelua, both AMAZING dishes! This place is fantastic. Been coming for years and never disappoints.
Really amazing arepas ! Try the Reina Pepiada and the Jardinera ! Vegetarian-friendly!
Take the empenada mechada. It was delicious. I highly recommend this place. Thanks for the amazing food.
Arepas are delicious. Try the jardinera , awesome. Overall great dinner !
All food is really high quality. Specially the meat. Cozy .
Definitely get the bacon wrapped dates and come early so you don't have to wait for a long time
Every week is restaurant week! Appetizer, glass of wine/or beer and main entree for $30, every day! Delicious, flavorful authentic Venezuelan/Nuevo Latino cuisine, nothing compares!

Great drinks and service, but my beef tenderloin was VERY fatty and difficult to eat.
Get the pabellón criollo! The tajadas are great too
The garlic sauce that comes with many dishes is extremely addictive. -Tania Peterson, Top Chef Just Desserts
Order Arepa Reina Pepiada !! to die for
The rib sandwich was unbelievable.
Fantastic Venezuelan food near home.
Whatever the dish is with the steak , chicken and sausage -- get it.
Go for apps and wine ONLY. Entrees and dessert took a ridiculous amount of time to be served. Had to double check about both just to make sure we were not forgotten after the third bottle of wine !
They don't update their schedules online. Walked a mile to get there and it was close. Online schedules don't coincide with reality. Beware!!!
The tostones are like crack
Apps, salas, and arepas are good deals . Skip the entrees.
OMG Arepas ? Yes please
Great Latin food at affordable prices .
Los tequeños y el pabellón estaban riquisimos!!!
This was the best of the restaurants that I visited while in town. My recommendation: open up the meal with either rellenos de papa or tostones. For your entrée go for the Trifongo. Then, tres leches. - M3t47 G34r
Roast lamb or roast beef sandwich, with any cookie for dessert. Still amazing since I first ate here 9 years ago - Amy Grove
Good brunch. Moroccan cigars and pierogis make a great meal for two - El Campeador
The restaurant is committed to using organic, all natural, locally raised & grown ingredients whenever possible. You can’t go wrong with a chocolate-dipped macaroon or a strawberries & cream cupcake. - BU Today
