Get the Parisian Mist it's fantastic. Kind of pricey if you aren't used to cafe prices. That being said it's my favourite coffee shop , and happens to be in a bustling area in the heart of uni campus
4 things you must try at Balzac's: 1) Chai tea latte with vanilla soy milk , 2) Café mocha with whipped cream , 3) Banana chocolate muffin , 4) Citro-booster with cayenne pepper .
Organic options, milk options, gluten free vegan treats ! This place is unreal! Finally a cafe that has it all and is up with the times. Get the toasted almond mocha . So so delish.
Ryerson students should love this excellent coffee shop . Try the raisin swirl croissant with a cappuccino - perfect for a 8am class !
I tried Parisian mist ! So delicious! Nice place to study or to meet with a friend.
Easy to get a coffee and snack . Be aware that it is in the middle of Ryerson campus and there are lots of people almost all the time..
Great chocolate chip cookies . They struggled a little with the cortado request. Nice space when the Ryerson students are gone for the summer.
Try the Parisian Mist made with French Breakfast tea . Amazing. So much better than a London Fog .
Always a great cup and they work had to make it as you like. My kind of place.
My favourite small chain coffee shop . Great Americano
Nice coffee shop with free WiFi and power outlets .
It is always crowded !! I like the decorations lol
All blends of coffee , carrot cake , Turkish Delight
Cappucino was slightly worse than average (milk was too hot and beans had a burnt taste), lemon tart was stale (and outsourced from Dufflet instead of homemade ) - would definitely give this a pass.
cashiers must smile at customers. excellent loc
Espresso coffees are SO hot! but chai lattes are pretty nice.
Great vibes and good coffee ☕️
You can't go wrong with an Americano ... Mmms... Always does the fix :)
Food & coffee + friendly atmosphere
Almond chocolate croissant and spinach and feta croissant will never dissapoint
Expensive but high quality great atmosphere
That's my favorite of the Balzac locations.
Well priced, friendly staff , free wifi .
If you're sick, opt for the Citro Booster - I promise it'll make you feel better :)
Save you sometime — There are absolutely no outlets here.
New favourite drink is the parisian mist ! Yum!
Hot double shot americano : $2.75. Iced double shot americano : $2.65. Doesn't really make sense.
The peanut butter rice krispie thing is delicious.
Ginger twist tea is delightful.
They have a really good cappucino
I dont know why Balzac's coffee is so popular in town ..
Organic tea and coffee
They have phone chargers at each table but some don't work.
The organic chai latte is UNREAL
Try the Parisian Mist !
Lovely patio
Granola = Best snack ever!
Nice place, Nice coffee but the wifi wasn't working and the staff didn't seem to care.
Moroccan mint tea is great for a sore throat.
Tey the parisian mist....nom nom
Straight up caffeinate me.
I would avoid the cookies ... Unless you like hard and crumbly.
Service could be a lot better.
The glass is hot....
