You need to go there if you want to see amazing view of Athens and Acropolis . It can be reach by car, there is a big parking , and must walking up by the stairs. Better to do it on sunrise!
Amazing 360 degree view of the entire Athens.Makes the Acropolis seemed so small from such height.Dine or have a drink after at the SkyBar
Best scenic view at Athens. Either climb the stairs is 20 mins or take finicular at 5 euros. Enjoy wine at nice mezze restaurants up the hill
The cable car working until 2am. Leaves every hour and half hour. Price 7 eur return trip. The easiest way to find is to follow Plytarhou street all the way up. Best visit for sunset . Windy.
I would suggest to go up with the telepheric and go down walking. The view of the city from the hill is fantastic :-) Once up there relax and enjoy the 360 view .
Great hike with a fabulous view of Athens. Obviously the sunset is satisfying, but not as satisfying as the cheap refreshments the grandma sells on the trail . Make sure to catch her before she leaves!
Small hill near Kolonaki area. Take the cable car all the way to the top and take some fantastic photos with a panoramic view of Athens or just simply hike to the top if you are a sporty type!
Left of the teleferique on Plutarch street in Kolonaki there's a footpath leading to the top of the hill , if you are up to hiking . Another path will take you down the other side towards Ambelokipi.
Beautiful view of the city from the top of the hill . Good for taking pictures. There is a cafe and a restaurant up there as well .
One of the best places in Athens to see the city .

Amazing view . There is restaurant on top so you can enjoy the view . The funicular is there to get to comfortably on top. Pls not it does not accept cards , only cash . Walking up is ok, down great.
The most beautiful view of Athens after Acropolis hill . At nights lots of people gother at theatre parking . There is Cantine for a quick beer and snack till very late.
A must-hike hill . Go at night and this is what you'll be greeted with at the top. Magical.
Excellent for a refreshing walk and a great view of Athens and surroundings. Neglected though
Lycabettus hill is the highest point in the Greek capital Athens. At its highest point, this hill is 277 metres and thus more than 120 metres higher than, for example, the Acropolis .
The teleferiko is 7,50 euros return ticket. It deserves to pay only the way up for 4€, the way down better to go on foot as you won’t loose the views .
The panoramic view from the top just sweeps you away! Legend has it that wolves used to seek refuge on this hill . That probably explains its name "Lycabettus: the hill walked by wolves". Read more
If you want a romantic evening with your partner with a spectacular view , Lykavittos Hill is the right place and the highest point of Athens rising to 277 meters above the city .
You can get there very easily. If you looking for privacy don't go to the top.

Best views across Athens. Take the funicular if your legs feel a little tired.
Great views across the city , shame about the antenna blocking the view of the acropolis .

A nice workout to climb when the weather is decent. Then relax and enjoy the view from the top !
