La Ristrettos

A stumbled upon lovely oasis tucked on the 8th floor of the medical centre with outdoor seating . Ordered a flat white and it was a robust cuppa that perked me up. Will be back for the food.

Nice homely ambience overlooking lush greenery . Great Italian cuppa. Can get rather noisy if you're looking to study or do work when the crowds stream in, as with any popular coffee spot :)

Hidden find. Cosy. Trendy . Green space. Good coffee . Power plugs available. Can get noisy during peak hours.

Feels like an oasis amongst in an area full of concrete. Great ambience. Might be crowded and can be challenging to find a seat.

Great roasted coffee ! Cafe latte has strong aroma and delicious breakfast sets ! Toasted bananas with mixed nuts is just nice for vegetarians .

Indeed a green oasis in square 2, amongst the medical suites. Agree that coffee had acidic aftertaste which I am not a fan of. Food however is quite good!

Delightful coffee . They roast their own! Breakfast also good. Gets busy on Saturdays around 10.30am. Arrive before then if you can. Grab an outdoor seat . Enjoy!

Update October 2016: still one of the better coffee places in the Novena area. Just had one of the smoothest iced lattés that still delivered a good caffeine fix.

Fantastic hidden find for breakfast , brunch , and lunch . Great coffee , good food. Must have the Grande and Mushroom Frittata .

We had smoked salmon with poached eggs (smooth runny yolks ) and mushroom fritata. Both went very well with the aromatic latte .

Coffee is good! My current 2nd fav spot. Food is decent - had the all day breakfast and liked what I had - Tostino E Arrosto . Roasted chicken was tasty & not too dry. Poached egg had runny yolk .

Scallop linguine in creamy tomato sauce : nice mix of herbs and veggies in the pasta , with lots of scallops .

Outdoor seating in an enclosed bamboo-grove, manicured garden with water running through is prettier than in cafe - which smells of kitchen fumes. Breakfast was merely passable but coffee was excellent

Ok. Flat white here is better than piccolo latte , which is unusual for me. So at the same price @ $5 for both, I recommend the flat white .

Love the different fresh flowers on display everytime I pop by for a cuppa.

Hidden place . The coffee is good but the breakfast was kind of weird as it came with a whole kind of Schnitzel which I didn’t expect

Today's coffee : robust, roasted flavours with no bitterness or acidic aftertaste. Very good.

Place and coffee are good! Brunch is not, but cheap . The toast of French Toast tastes sweet and no spices on the scrambled eggs at all. Chicken of Bruschetta Brunch is dry. Also no spices.

Great coffee . Bruschetta has a lot of meat and so satisfying. Tastes good too

They do double shots here (I'm guessing ristrettos... 😝😝😝). So if you don't need the extra buzz, ask for singles.

Small place. Seats abt 16pax inside. Packed on a lazy Sat morning we were there (probably fr folks waiting on/visiting various clinics in the medical centre)

Cappuccino wasn't done badly, unfortunately they use a super acidic blend which I can't get myself to like it. I'll try the food next time I drop by.

Such a disappointment!The good reviews is what drew me here but the food is disgusting. Nothing is seasoned or cooked properly. Tastes of nothing.The service is slow and the waitress had an attitude.
