5th time here. Food always great. Our favourites: nasu dengaku, sashimi , wafu steak . Very popular place any night of the week - easy to see why.

the wafu salad is greatness.... shredded carrot & cabbage & sprouts & radish too.. with a tangy yet fruity sauce.... i can just eat it with rice sometimes! ┌(⌒ー⌒)┘

Tried many dishes and they were all fabulous. I came to the conclusion that this is the best Japanese restaurant I have tried so far.

Had tempura , sashimi , chicken teriyaki , udon noodles and the tofu steak . All AMAZING!!

Great value for what it is. The fish was fresh and plenty of good choices on the menu.

also note that they moved location in 2012 to a bigger place at the end of the same street.. so have a much better interior & have become consistently better.

Beef rolls stuffed with veggies was really lovely

this place has stepped up its game! it is the best place in the area that's for sure! •^_^•

OK...a little schizophrenic.....Some dishes are authentic some dumbed down to suit the locale....order the Kaki fry as appetiser

Possibly the best Japanese restaurant in Melbourne, Miso soup is just too damn good!

The food is wonderful but the noise level in this small space makes it almost unpleasant to sit for long. Plan on yelling if you want to be heard at your table!

the ede mame is nice here too.

do RSVP first before coming to avoid disappointment. kinda full even on a weekday...
