Dumplings : Carts of steaming dumplings come fast and furious, and it's best to take whatever you get. Not all the other dishes are worth the effort, but the dumplings are usually a satisfying bet.
The peking duck is assembled tableside with cucumber , scallion and sauce atop puffy, bao-style pancakes . Another nice touch is the stir-fried duck and vegetables that follow. Read more
Get the runny egg beef , Japanese fried rice , & chicken with pan fried noodles (chow mein ).... Then mix them all together. OMG heavenly. This place is delicious & beautiful inside. Usually a wait tho.
One of the best dim sum restaurants in Chicago Chinatown. Have to go early on weekends, or be prepared to wait
"Our senior food and home editor, Emily Fiffer, refers to the food here as 'shrimp clouds.' Tip-top dim sum seven days a week, myriad dipping sauces , and fair prices.Go on a weekday to avoid crowds."
A fantastic place to try dim sum . Go with a group of friends and try as many different dim sum as you can eat. Read more
Don't expect to walk in and set good authentic Chinese and good owners. Love this place
This place used to have the best shanghai soup dumplings . New management has eliminated these tasty morsels
A favorite for Dimsum & Chinese cuisine . Food is good as ever, though I'm disappointed the Dimsum rolling carts don't go around anymore. And some of the staff are rude & barely speak English.
Awesome seafood dishes ! Just don't order the lousy milk tea !
Dim sum is amazing, go with a group so you can try more things.
mao pao tofu has minced beef in it. the dish was in the vegetable/tofu section of menu. they apparently disregard dietary concerns.
Dim sum : ha gao (shrimp dumpling ) ; Siu mai (pork dumpling ); and pai guot (steamed pork ribs ) were all very good. Expect waits on sat and sun from 11-2. Wait staff is mediocre at best.
Great place for groups. A wide variety of dim sum .
Arrive before 11 a.m. Items with pork were very tasty, the fish not so much. If you dislike the thought of a bowl of slimy tofu covered in ultra sweet syrup , do not order the tofu soup .
Ditto! Well worth the drive from Kalamazoo! A couple of must haves: wu kok , chee cheong fun , pey tan cuk, har gow, lo ba ko & fried eggplant .
Dim sum is awesome, but there is a long wait in the morning. Not so much after 12pm on Sunday
Very good dim sum , get there early, especially on weekends
Shaolin baos ! It's no Joe's Shanghai but it's damn good
The bbq pork buns and other dim sum items were not bad, don’t get the egg tart though it’s strange
Bring cash, ask for a discount .
Very affordable and filling
Deep fried taro puffs (wu kok ), stuffed bean curd , and lo mai kai!
Best dim sum in the city !

Food is good but very very bad customer services, bad manners from the waitress
Friendly staff, love the wide variety of dim-sums.. And yes, the refreshing hot tea and fresh baked cookies that this chain offers at no cost for the guests! - Nand

I had a good time in Chinatown, & it was definitely one of the highlights of my Chicago experience. Stock up on candy, bubble tea, & cultural goods! I just wish there were more entertainment options. - Daniel Crum
