i love everything about Stedelijk, the restaurant too. You don't need to buy a ticket to the museum . If you already have a ticket try the Zedelhof Cafe upstairs.

SERVICE: Friendly , accurate, 2~3 minutes, meal 5 mins. FOOD: Reliable, consistent, tasty but unsurprising. PRICE: No more than any other international museum , a pleasant space, comfortable bench !

Compared to the other negative reviews, the service was fast and the food was good. Prices are on the high side, but it's a museum restaurant in the middle of Amsterdam, so that is to be expected...

I thought WTF when I've read all those negative tips, BUT we came here on the second of January, 2014, guess what, excellent service and a good meal too! we've had the french steak , the cod & a caesar

Service was actually great here. Guess it depends on your server. Maybe a tad expensive but had a super yummy burger and they have a kids menu too.

Lovely lovely french fries ! Once the waiter takes yr order in their gadgets, to get their attention afterwards is a Feat!!!

Horrible service and an abomination of a BLT! This is a club sandwich that exploded. They should really train their staff in attending tables instead of acting like they're busy! Thumbs down.

Fairly good food, not priceworth though, besides the waitress didn’t speak nor understood Dutch ????

Expensive, but sure the location is great

Took too long to get my order through and after ordering i waited +25 min for only two cappuchino’s (on a not busy day).

Don't come here. Overpriced. 15 minutes to take our order (being seat, after being waiting 15 minutes with free tables...). The sandwich actually was a cold Bruschetta with just one slice of bread .

Huge space with slow service, no need to be in a rush when waiting for you beverage.

Coffee is really bad :( brrrr. Ordered a double espresso and it was one of the worst espresso 's I had in ages. I suggest you go to toasty 's on the overtoom instead.

It's pretty expensive for what you get. Well-lit place though!

Don't go here in the weekend till they got their 'system' in order. If they have any that is.
