Had the chef's table experience at Nerua. The young and skilled Chef Josean Alija himself humbly served us. A veritable vegetable master who I see getting a second Michelin Star soon. Best in Bilbao!!
It's an extraordinary tasting experience, just as expected from a fine dining restaurant . The food is filled with creativity and perfectly matched with regional wine .
hands down one of my favorite restaurants so far. 6 product tasting at 60 euros for lunch , perfect wine pairing at 20 more. all completely worth the buck- spaniards have clearly outdone the french!
Totally worth the meal - with several options of set courses and a la carte - everything is beautifully plated and thought out. Get ready for a delicious meal!
Everything was outstanding but the grilled hake and beef tenderloin with red beet gnocchi were particular standouts. Highly recommended.
