A great experience after such a long time. Their food is beyond expectations. I enjoyed meal here with my friends last month. I highly recommend this food point if you ever visit Los Angeles.

The whole experience of ordering and waiting for a seat is nice .. Burgers are good but fries are great ???? .. Don't miss the pecan pie .

Here is how it works: there is no waiting list, it's an honor system. Your job is to know who was there before you. It's not a free for all, so don't just shove in when seats open. And don't skip pie .

This was the first stop on my LA burger tour . Went alone at around 7 and was able to sit right away. Server was super sweet and the hickory burger with cheddar was delicious.

we ordered the steak cheese burger witch was better than the hickory burger , it was not hot as expected & the favour is mild the patty was thin & i figured out the restaurant now lives on old Héritage

Hickory Burger is not the original Apple Pan burger , which just goes to prove that you can improve upon perfection. The apple pie is also a must, but their forks are flatter than the GOP's world view .

I love the retro atmosphere of this burger joint . The banana cream pie is number one on my list. They serve soft drinks in cone-shaped paper cups, which I have not seen anywhere else. Love it.

There's only counter space so might have to wait to sit but it's worth it. If (when) ordering fries , get them extra crispy and with hickory sauce on the side - you won't regret it.

A LA classic burger place. It is definitely an experience to eat here from the old timer who served us to the decor and seating. It is like a glimpse of a piece of LA history.

The Hickory Burger 's so good because their recipe for the patty and "special sauce " are a secret. The ground meat is a mixture of prime and choice cuts of beef and the grilled bun gives a crusty edge.

They added a jukebox ! Stange to add something that feels like technology (even from the 50's) to a place that is a time capsule to old Los Angeles. I love this place.

Super duper delicious. Their apple pie is scrumdiddilyumptious. Their burgers are yummy, fresh, but I personally didn't like their secret sauce, which tastes like their apple pie filling.

Good burger . I didnt get a chance to taste the pies but I'll try it next time. I like the diner concept. Be prepared to stand against the wall and wait until seat(s) become available.
