The lighthouse is on a Military base . You must have your drivers license, proof of registration and insurance car for your vehicle . They will search your vehicle as well . There are NO weapons allowed

Lighthouse is closed during thunderstorm. They have to wait for half an hour before letting anyone in after the last thunder sound.
