Moving in DXB is quite easy a cab/taxi and take you anywhere please note that Dubai has now two gold souqs ...Old Gold Souq which is in Deira area and New Gold Souq at Al Mina Road in Bur Dubai.

It’s so incredibly beautiful to walk through these shops and just see gold jewelry hanging everywhere. Even if you don’t buy anything, just walk through and see the jewelry designs.

You have to be careful of all the copys of watches and bags.very crowded but a must have Visitation.

New Gold Souk...why? For a real experience go to the old gold soul in Deira to shop. Take a water taxi for the cultural experience to get there. Come ready to bargain leave the store if you must!

if you are Western they will rope you off, will even if you are not. so make sure to know the real prices of Gold before going and then add around 20 DHS for Workmanship.

Fascinating. The shop owners can be almost too pushy. Be firm and respectable with your “No, Thank you”. Bring your haggling skills for great buys.

Jewelry is very cheap .. U should be careful especially guys yelling at you like "watches,sunglasses Bla bla " they are a little bit annoying

Only worth the visit if u r interested on buying gold !! Otherwise, do not waste time. Dubai is huge and have others places worth going. ;)

Very traditional also they have the biggest golden ring in the world. It's weight is approximately 60 kg of gold !!

Must do this if you ever visit Dubai. Take the water taxi over from Bur Dubai for a real experience.

Gold rates are same in every shop but making charges differ. Check 2-3 shops for rates before actual purchase.

An Arabian visit would not be complete without a stop at the Gold Souk. Over 300 retailers sell a variety of gold items .

Crowded , but fun to stroll around and see what the stores have to offer. A cool touristic attraction .

This street is just insane. Fun to walk through: Either someone tries to sell you some crappy rolex copywatches or they try to drag you into the gold shops .

Its nice to just go and look at the gold as well and bask in the shimmers and shines

Shopping here is a trip back in time. Make sure you haggle with the merchants over the price of gold jewelry . It's part of the experience.

This is a useful tip although a little weird. If you're in need of a clean toilet when in this area, head to the Gold Centre building :-)

Good to visit The Gold Souq in winter as it is comfortabe to walk around and buying golds .
