Here is the perfect order: two-meat sampler with pulled pork and brisket , Brunswick stew and mac & cheese ; burnt end sandwich ; coleslaw side, fried green beans side; Fried Oreos . And beers .

This place is amazing and ridiculous. I could drown in a pile of meat here and die happy. Get the stew , get the pulled pork , or close your eyes and point to anything on the menu. So good.

Make sure to go for Prime Rib Fridays as it's the best thing on the menu (sandwich or plate & don't forget the au jus). Ribs & pulled pork were very good. Spicy & Sweet sauce was heavenly.

Best BBQ I’ve ever had. Been all over - Texas, Nashville, etc. Southern Soul is the best. Got the pulled pork , brisket , slaw , Mac n cheese , brisket chili , Brunswick stew . GET THE COBBLER please.

Great food. Place is small with little indoor eating space. Great food. Place is a bit sumptuous and had flies but food was really good. Oh yeah, hard to park but great food. All in all, I'd go back.

Brisket with fried green beans and Mac and cheese ! Brunswick stew was killer. All four BBQ sauces were awesome, but Sweet Georgia Soul was my favorite. I and my two friends each bought a bottle of it!

AMAZING! Got the pulled pork which was great. All the BBQ sauces were good but the Sweet GA Soul was so good I bought a bottle. Next time I will definitely try the ribs , they looked super tasty.

Southern Soul Sandwich , for 6 bucks its a lot of food and you cant go wrong for a quick bit. This is also a hot spot for the pilots that fly to St. Simons.

Try the brisket . You can't go wrong with whatever you chose. Ignore the uppity rich people on vacation and eat with your hands!

It would be nice if they had fans going in the picnic tables area it was hot and buggy which detracted from the good food

It's all great here, the problem is deciding what to have each time I come here!

The meats were terrific, but the sauces weren't to my liking. I'm not a fan of mustard , and the sauces have this as a major flavor component. The vinegar-based sauce was okay. I prefer sweeter sauce.

I found a curly black hair in the middle of my pulled pork plate, I have blonde hair... I took it back inside and they quickly got me a new plate.

Sauces are mustardy, hot mustardy, or red wine vinaigrette , not my thing. Mac & cheese isn't my fav either. This place is famous, but I'd go somewhere else. Waitresses are rude if you are pretty.

The Beef Briskets it will make your tongue slap your brain to get more it so good.
