East Beach

Restrooms clean.water for washing sandy feet avail. Quite a Long way from parking to actual water. Plenty parking . Evening ideal for sunset or moonrise. Great for kiting. Dogs allowed on leash.

Quintessential Saint Simons. Huge expanse of beach at low tide. Tight in spots on crowded holidays at high tide . The severe tide in this area cuts up the beach in strange ways season to season.

As far as public beaches go this one is great. ESP in early may not too busy.

The Coast Guard and Lighthouse museums are a bright spot for local history.

Perfect place for a nice relaxing walk after work when traveling to Brunswick. Convenient parking & beach access through Massengale Park .

Very crowded during Memorial Day but lots to do!!!

The gulf coast has spoiled me. I prefer the Snow White sand and emerald waters there to the gray and black sand and murky water here. it was not overcrowded and the people are incredibly friendly .

Not a good area to see fireworks on the 4th of July. Get closer to the village .
