The food was good and inexpensive for Icelandic standards. They serve liquor but simple cocktails only.
Inside the Kex Hostel . I normally wouldn’t go to a hostel for dinner/drink but this place has a cool Ace Hotel vibe. The fried chicken is boneless and enough for 2 light eaters.
It might feel weird to go to a hostel bar but the food is delicious and it's a wonderful place to hang out on a rainy afternoon.
Come here for burgers , salads and craft beer
Great place to lounge and meet interesting people
It might be slightly strange to arrive at this restaurant at first. You enter a door marked "KEX" Hostel , go to the second floor and voilla!
