Outstanding service . Very romantic atmosphere . Fresh catch on pineapple rice is divine. Caprese salad and scallops for starters. Surf and turf is excellent.

Great food, great location. Had sunset dinner reservations . Was wonderful. Didn't know about the buy one get one free thing till we went to pay. Great surprise! Its only a certain time though.

Excellent seafood choices on the reimagined menu. I recommend ordering several small plates over a single entree. Cranberries , lobster roll & fries , shrimp cocktail were tonight's selections.

Butterfish entree is amazing, best in Hawaii (in my experience). Also opt for the Yellow Tail sashimi dish for your pupu (appetizer ), it perfectly prepared and delicious!

Brenden was out waiter and did a phenomenal job. Very friendly , very informative and in no hurry to get us out to turn the table. It was a great experience.

The menu is a little simpler than when I went here three years ago but it was still delicious.

Try the burger — great jam . Clams also very good with garlic sauce .

Of all the high end restaurants I went to on Maui, Humuhumu has the best food and atmosphere. There's something to be said for eating atop the fish pond .

If you ask, your waiter will bring you fish food to feed the bonefish in the lagoon while you wait for your own.

Good ambiance, average food. If you are going to spend $$$$ on a meal, I would recommend other places on the island - Mala, Migrant at Marriott next door are very good options.

The food is decent, but not overly memorable. You came for the setting as much as the food. The combination is very good. Unfortunately, the wait staff always seems to be just so-so, at best.

Actually DON'T feed the fish or the birds unless the proper food provided by staff . It's not good for them and the birds will poop on peoples head of u feed them!

If you have a table that is voted best table in maui in 2009, maybe try to have a reservation setup for it? Highly disappointed that i put table 70 on request 2 days prior and was rejected! Lame!!!!

Yes, its worth it. There is some average seating, but with the right service , this is one of the best.

Lots of kids and families. I guess if your thinking romantic try a later reservation .

I get it... It's Hawaii. It's Maui. I get it. But come on. This place is SO overpriced unless you want to leave broke, skip it. The service rocks, and the views are good... But man, SO overpriced.

Mostly terrible. Expensive beyond reason ($110+ for a lobster tail ), indifferent service, not romantic despite assertions to the contrary, food blah, drinks weak. At least the pond setting is nice.

What a disappointment for our Valentine's anniversary dinner . Service was weak and food was average for this price point. No fish in the pond anymore.
